Break (Video Dens 1986) v2.1
(2-in-1 Original + Sound Mod)
https://www.ipdb.org...ine.cgi?id=5569

VP9 FS table by TAB, Destruk, dboyrecords
VPX Conversion by Javito
Sound and Flasher Mod by XenonPH

v2.1b
Added STAT's ball rolling sounds to Sound Manager.
Thanks to DigitalArts for the info, and sending me the ball rolling sounds!
Thanks to STAT for adding the ball rolling script!

v2.1 (2-in-1 Original + Sound Mod)
Totally reworked my old sound mod script, which was frankly embarrassing.
Added Sound Mod Option at top of script for those who want to play the original table without the Sound Mod. (Sound Mod is on by default)
Color LED's Option at top of script to choose 5 different colors for the VPinMAME window.
Cabinet users can find Option at top of the script to set the controller to B2S.Server.
Added new sound fx.
Music is played from the Sound Manager now.
Added 10 flashers that only flash in sound mod mode.
LUT's can be toggled by holding down Left Magna-Save, and pressing Right Magna-Save.
LUT's can only be toggled when Ball is NOT in Play.
Reshaped all Insert Lights, and reduced the Halo Height from 85 down to 1.

I first would like to thank TAB, Destruk, dboyrecords, Kiwi, Arngrim, STAT, and anyone else who had a helping hand, for the work they did on the VP9 FS version table!
Find Original VP9 FS version here...

I used his version 2.0 table for this Mod.

I would also like to send special thanks to Steve "Slydog43", for which these VPX mods would not be possible!! THANK YOU!

Thanks to all VP contributors, and the Devs who create these programs, past and present!!

Hi Charles,

this table uses the old (but still good) ball rolling routine by STAT. But it is missing the required sounds "roll 1" to "roll 4"

so no ball rolling effects here. of course i imported the 4 soundfiles into sound manager and all is ok now.

just fyi, if you want to do any table updates

SOLVED = I deleted the nvram file and everything went back to normal. Thanks everyone.

I have had this table installed on my PC for over a week and it is working perfectly. However, yesterday the table stopped registering credits (chips) and it won't start anymore. I downloaded the table and the ROM again, without success. The strangest thing is that I transferred the same files to another PC and the table worked normally.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Thanks.

Just try to delete the [ROMname].nv

I had already deleted the Rom, downloaded it again here and replaced it, and it had not resolved the issue. I deleted the nvram file and everything went back to normal. Thanks for your help.

- Is there any way to disable the external DMD so that only the score is displayed in Backglass with the B2s file? (Even if I change the script to option 2 on line 20, the external DMD remains enabled)
- Is there any option in the script so that the table releases 5 balls per game?

Ok I think I see the problem. (This table is not like others, and is why the controller option in script is used.)

Pressing F1 key does not bring up rom options window, like it normally does for other tables.

What you can do is go into your VPinMAME folder and run Setup.exe, or Setup64.exe if you are using 64bit VPinMAME.

Then click Test.

Now highlight the break rom in the list and click Game Options.

Now the break rom options window will show.

Now uncheck Use external dmd.

Press ok and reboot table.

Hope this helps you.
