I am guessing you are having problems with this VPX table from the late great Loserman?

Are you running the table in Exclusive Fullscreen mode?

If so, you may be getting an error message that you cannot see.

Try clicking Preferences tab in editor, then click Video Graphics options, and uncheck Exclusive Fullscreen mode.

Now run the table and see if any error messages are popping up?

 

This is usually the main reason why tables do not start, when pressing Player 1 Start.

It is usually an unseen error message preventing the game from starting.

Being new to this. I don't understand stand what your talking about...this is old school machine. Not digital, full screen mode?,check preferences? I have no screen to see this?

When I read this, I thought it was talking about the real table, not the virtual table.

Right?

No the real 4 legged pinball machine..not virtual

Do you get voltage at the solenoid when it should kick?
If voltage is present, could be a bad solenoid winding.

 

If no voltage, perhaps a dirty or out of alignment/adjustment contact?

 

PS
This forum technically pertains to virtual pinball machines
but many here also have experience with repairing or maintaining real pins
so someone may have better suggestions on what to check.
