A few of the old crowd still chat on Discord under Big Bang while waiting for VPF to start one.

I'm not there very often these days, in fact it's very rare but others do

Does a VP Discord server still exist? I need to reconnect with the community and pull myself together. My time in the industry was nothing short of an exploited fiasco if you remember Heighway Pinball. It hasn't got any better since then - twelve years of this nonsense and I didn't come away with a bean. I'm badly in need of an outlet and a sense of purpose to keep the personal demons at bay; lots to catch up on, lots of unused material. Haven't actually tried VPX yet in any capacity or seen what it can really do now. Most of my fliptest layouts are in VP 9.95.
