Hi,
Since I didn´t find any topic that explains what you need to do to fix Table bumps when using Head Tracking, I decided to write this post.
I use Kinect v1 (Xbox 360) for head tracking. The setup that worked for me was put Kinect below the DMD and Backglass with 15 degrees up (you can change up to 27 degrees)
I only found a solution for bumps in some tables the day I went to the manual configuration of BAM Player Tracking. In Future Pinball you need to increase the value of Jittering Filter. To go there:
1. Start a table
2. Press Q
3. Select Config menu
4. Select Player Tracking menu
5. Change the Filtering to "Manual"
6. Increase the value for "Jittering Filter"
in my case, i changed Range to 200 and Exponent to 2
THis config works for Future Pinball and Visual Pinball 10.8 as well. Now the head tracking in VPX works like a charm. It´s a huge difference in terms of experience and table visualization. It looks like another table. I truly recommend to buy a Kinect and try it.
Hope it helps someone.
