Hi @flupper1 ,

How are you?

Today, lot of people ( mostly VPW team ) use your insert pre-rendered texture.

They are perfect to make good insert.

It's a long time i'm stand-by on VPX, mostly because i currently help one of them to make his table with new physics and graphics.

What i want to ask to you is if there a possiblity to have your insert texture without black background? I wish to have them with transparent ( Alpha layer ) background.

Is it possible?

Greating,

JLou,

Take the pic and make alpha channel.

Les cons ça ose tout. C'est même à ça qu'on les reconnaît.

An alpha channel should work.  I am guessing you are using a selection method in your graphics editor.  You should be able to make an inverse selection before you set the alpha channel.

There is another method.  You can change the image to a bit map (bmp).  Then upload image to the FP list of images and set the background color to be transparent.  The background must be a solid color and you enter the RGB into the FP editor.  Bit maps are usually much larger than tifs with an alpha channel but it might look the way you want.

Not the good solution too. Insert have "solid black zone" too.. So it will not render good. And as you say, BMP are larger..

If Flupper don't answer, i will rework them. I ask it for time gain.
