So I downloaded the table from 7 zip I moved the table into my tables file but having issues with the game loading. I can enter coins in the table and launch the ball but when I use a bumper it freezes. When the table loads it says direct B2s not found no dmd will show. Any pointers on where the files should be stored?

RAR is just another form of a ZIP file.

Both have the same contents.

They are just compressed differently and are in a different container.

So you would extract the contents of the RAR file into a folder, (I usually extract to folder with same name of RAR file), and then move those files as if they had just been unzipped from a Zip file.

Ok so Ill extract the contents to one file, and then move that entire file to my tables folder and it should work?

Move the contents of the file, not the file folder.

It would be just like it came in a ZIP file.

You move the contents of the Zip file to where they need to go.

Same for Rar files.

This particular Rar file comes with 3 items..

StrangerThings.UltraDMD (Move this folder to tables folder)

StrangerThings v2.2-MX DOF.directb2s

StrangerThings v2.2-MX DOF.vpx

All 3 of these items need to be placed in your tables folder.

Some Zip or Rar files you download may have Instruction Cards, Music, all sorts of added goodies.

You will have to sort out where each item goes.

You will have to put music in your music folder etc, etc.

Ok so I’m on the right track I dragged all 3 of those into my tables the table loads up BUT I’m still having issues the coins go in and I can pull the plunger to launch the ball… if I try to use a flipper it freezes. I also noticed if I let a ball drain in the middle it will launch another 2 balls and drain ‍♂️

I cannot replicate your problem.

Sometimes when a table is first played, it may have weird things happen.

Close out the table fully, and then try a game.

Usually the odd behaviour disappears on next table run.

Try to reinstall all the Stuff with the ALL IN ONE Installer ... VPX installer - VPForums.org

Then just move your VPX Files into your /tables - Folder, not a zip or whatever rar, ...

ROM Files, if needed for a Table, are needed as ZIP File as it is (e.g. t2_l8.zip), don't unzip, only move to VPinMAME/roms - Folder ...

@Rpags7474 - from your post at gameex the error you get is 'variable is undefined bcleft'

see https://www.vpforums...=37231&p=392663

Find and delete these two blocks of code in the table script;

'***** manual ball control *******
if keycode = 203 then bcleft = 0 ' Left Arrow
if keycode = 200 then bcup = 0 ' Up Arrow
if keycode = 208 then bcdown = 0 ' Down Arrow
if keycode = 205 then bcright = 0 ' Right Arrow
'********
'****** manual ball control
if keycode = 46 then ' C Key
     If contball = 1 Then
          contball = 0
     Else
          contball = 1
     End If
End If
if keycode = 48 then 'B Key
     If bcboost = 1 Then
          bcboost = bcboostmulti
     Else
          bcboost = 1
     End If
End If
if keycode = 203 then bcleft = 1 ' Left Arrow
if keycode = 200 then bcup = 1 ' Up Arrow
if keycode = 208 then bcdown = 1 ' Down Arrow
if keycode = 205 then bcright = 1 ' Right Arrow
'*********
