Hi all!

I have a VPin cabinet running PinballX.  I am in the process of adding MAME to it and one thing I want to add is game controls on the DMD.  I've heard people used to use CPWizard for this, but that application is defunct.  Is there something like it I can use?  Ideally, I'd like to generate static images based on my configuration with assignments read directly from my installed MAME ROMs.

I appreciate any help.

I found the last version of CPWizard and it still runs.  It's way overkill for what I need, so I am going to go a different route.  I'm going to create panels using Google Slides.  I have graphics images that I can reuse quickly.  It's a manual process, but I only care about MAME and only have a little over 100 games.  I'll post an image of one of my games to show the result

Here's the quick-and-dirty first-cut.  I can re-use the base image and just change the text assigned to the buttons.  I'm going to tweak the spacing a bit to get more room for larger text.  I can't attach images here, so I'll post my Google links

I currently just have a mame logo for every game but this would be way better.
How did you create the base image? I have a slightly different layout and its 16.9 dmd so looking to build my own template with the ability like you to just add text for each different game.

For the base image, I used Google Slides and "borrowed" the controls graphics (buttons, etc).  Then I just duplicate the slide for each game and edit it.  Only tricky part is you can't export as an image directly from Google Slides.  Instead I have to do a screenshot and save it.
