Is is possible to allow to download here somethwre in VPforums?

Hi,

 

I`m really looking forward to install the popper baller version but got very confused since it was telling "only for NEW installation"...

 

Currently I´m running a installed machine with Visual Pinbal 10.6 and Visual Pinball X as front end (dont blame me! ;-))

I also have pinup Popper installed but never used it...

 

Now since baller seems to be something like to holy grale for v-pins with a nice front end I would like to take this to my machine.

 

Can I just run the baller file and install everything out of it even if I have a set-up system already running?

Is there something I have to think, save, etc. before I do so???

If you already have Pinup Player and Popper installed, you don't need baller installer.  I just followed the manual steps here and the associated video guide: https://www.nailbust...d=install_guide

Thanks, so if I understand right it means the old fashioned way of installation. One by one update. I rather wished to have a baller version also as update for existing intallation... Maybe one day. :-)

I have a new Win10 and I'm looking to install Baller installer to simplify my setup.. but I'm just getting confused by the mention of updates and options.. is there a simple 'download latest baller installer'?

 

If the only way to get the fresh up-to-date install file is via Discord or Facebook, could this info be added to the page please?

You might direct message Nailbuster on here (he does have an account), and see if he's willing to provide a link.

you need to join the discord or facebook group to grab the link.  This ensures you are part the pinup community and can find the most uptodate info and most of the help from community is using FB or discord.

Yep. I don't have Facebook or Discord either! So no Pup. If any one of you knows

where your speech is traveling over Discord? After all it is not a private server and

I don't like that.

I still cannot find the installer anywhere. It's becoming quite frustrating. I don't use Facebook either, nor do I wish to. I had an old Discord account but I cannot find this installer for the life of me. The directions you give simply do not exist.

You have to actually join his discord group
there is no "public" download that i am aware of

I am not sure why he does not just have a download link on his website.

 

If something requires fb or discord etc to get to a download, im just not going to download it

I haven't used this as mine was installed prior to the baller installer availability.

I don't use any front end - they look pretty but just slow things down and get in my way - and are just one more thing to maintain and keep updated. I'd rather play pinball.
