Based on the table by Sonic from 1986.
 
Graphics redrawn by pedator
Directb2s also by pedator.
Thanks to akiless50000 for the redraw of the backdrop image used in the db2s.
 
This table uses as default the newer ROM, version 35, of Flight2000, which can be downloaded from here: vpuniverse
This ROM gives new rules and sounds to the table.
The rom used can be changed in the script.
I couldn't get the original rom from Sonic to work, but it had the same sounds and rules as the Pinstar Gamatron ROM. Maybe one day I'll get that ROM to work.
 
The layout is the same as Pinstar's Gamatron, but the graphics are more colorful, as it used to be in the Spanish tables.

For information, do you know if pinball machines customers like Sonic or Taito have had copyrights problems when making MODS ?

I don't think they got into problems, otherwise they couldn't have done all those machines. What I know is that Taito did not use any parts of the original machines, they simply went to Chicago, tok a loot at the machines, and took notes and made drawings, then they went back to Brazil and made similar machines I guess something similar happened with Sonic. I saw the Sonic ROM is not the same, it has very similar sound and rules, but it runs on other hardware, as all the solenoid, light and switch numbers are different. I couldn't get the rom to eject the ball, but I didn't tried super hard I really wanted to use the extended ROM from Flight2000, with the new sounds and rules, like the skillshot

 

I made a small UPDATE, 1.0.1, mostly to fix a few visual errors, not very important ones, but those tables should look as best as possible

i have muted rom...and if test t it give bad crc in pinmame test. rom downloaded from vpuniverse.

Perhaps you need to update your vpinmame?

That ROM I d'loaded from VPuniverse gives me "GameName not found" signal.

You will need the parent ROM "flight2k" in roms folder for the VPUniverse rom to work.

Great table but I also get game not found. The funny thing is is I was able to play this table a few days ago and I did not change anything.

I am using Visual Pinball 10.7.0 Final.  I am using the referenced flight2k and flight2m rom files and I am getting the same game not found error when trying to use the flight2m rom.  The table does work when using the flight2k rom.  Nice table btw.

Audit your flight2m ROM

 

Most likely a bad ROM and not a table issue

thank you and pedator and akiless50000 for this fantastic recreation. For further improvement of game play and appearance I changed the flipper fingers to your version used in "Ali",
