Hello,

    I am new to Future Pinball and a complete newbie, so please bear with me.   I have been following the excellent tutorial by Terry for the set up of Future Pinball  but I am having some trouble while trying to load the tables.   If anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. 

 

I am running the newest version of BAM/Future Pinball.   I am loading the tables via the FP loader as instructed.   I am running windows 10 with all of the C++ updates as per the tutorial.   I am using a single monitor on a desktop.   The tables seem to load, but I am getting a Pinball Meditation Error for each one of them.    For instance, the Star Wars Rebel Assault gives me 

 

Pinball Meditation Error

Script Error: Line 238

Variable is undefined: 'BulbLSLExt,

 

Other errors have been : Masters of the Universe 

 

Pinball Meditation Error

Script Error: Line 36

Variable is undefined: 'nvBallsPerGame'

 

Jaws gave me

 

Script Error Line 361

Variable is undefined 'Load External Script'

 

 

I am sure it is something simple that I missed, but if anyone could suggest a possible fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Try running FPLoader.exe as administrator.

I tested it on Jaws and that seemed to fix the issue for that table.  I will try with the others.   Thank you so much for the help and the quick response.   Your Tutorial is really great.  I appreciate all the hard work.    I'm just trying to get my feet wet with virtual pinball, but hopefully I will have something to contribute down the road.   Thanks again.

Download this, and use the included Install Guide to properly setup everything. Be sure you don't have Windows Defender or other anti-virus blocking the zip file or the installed FP folder. You shouldn't need to run anything as Administrator anymore (except maybe the first time only, if having problems)

Be sure you are running FP correctly as directed, and always completely close FP after exiting a table for any reason (including errors) before reloading the same table or another table.
