With VPX you can have the two versions in the same file

They have some different images ( lightning from blender ) and environment emission images

Also other tweaks for best performance

A good table builder can do it in one version , with good scripting skills ( i'm more into photoshop and a bit of blender )

Enjoy playing

I don't understand, you can switch from DT to FS in the Backglass/POV environment (nothing special to script)

Anyway, thanks again, so, which version has the best images, lighting and tweaks, Cabinet or Desktop ?

I think he might be saying he has baked in shadows or light effects, that are geared towards a certain view aspect.

Though you could swap those objects based on table1.ShowDT

If show DT show the DT optimized objects, hide the cab optimized ones and vice versa

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

I think he might be saying he has baked in shadows or light effects  = yes

and

I also mean this : in table 'lightning' setting there are some options like light height ,range, emission image ...

I don't have the scriptskills to change these settings.

I also think cabinet users only use the ' fullscreen' backdrop mode and desktop users only the ' desktop' mode,

so it was the most simple way to upload 2 versions :-)

Nice you like the table !

Nice one, but I play Uptown and it lasts for minutes. So that seems to be not correct. If I understand it correct in the video, it works only ten seconds.

Thanx 4 the wheels Rajo Joey

Concerning the Uptown play : on the other forum some had also problems with this, despite my included nvram

a member posted his nvram that works ( reading the replies ) so in the upload on this

                                                forum i included that nvram

Did you install this one ?  I also added instructions how to change the options manually . Did you have a go at it ?

I'll give my first nvram to you for test also

Hear U

Great table, looks and plays beautiful! Like one or two others, on my system I am losing balls from "uptown". Better say - one ball, that is jumping somehow to the upper left playfield. I am on 10.7 beta Rev4406 if that helps. I had two games and it happened in each game but not each time playing "uptown". Anyway - great job and thanks for sharing!

The top of the uptown is at 100 and the two rubbers at 110, the two rubbers should be at least 125 units.

Thank you, Great table!

Don't know why this happens :-(        I built it with 10.6 official version        bug int the 10.7 beta version ?   only guessing

Solution : add an invisible wall behind the red uptown targets and give it some height

for example bottom 70  top 160

Hope this helps

Thank you, Great table!

Visually the two rubbers on the sides of the targets are at the right height, it is the "Hit Height" at 110 that makes the ball jump out.

Hi mistermixer,

First of all thank you for this nice table.

I don’t know if the following issue is due to my particular cabinet configuration or is due to something weird in the code and it’s experienced by others too, but the first time the ball hits the left and the right slingshots, its movement is jerky all along the slingshot animation.

I fixed it by adding this Boolean variable:

Dim IsFirstStartGame

Which is initiated to True inside the Table1_Init subroutine:

Sub Table1_Init
...
                IsFirstStartGame = True
...
End Sub

And is handled by the following code into the Table1_KeyDown subroutine:

Sub Table1_KeyDown(ByVal KeyCode)
...
                If (keycode = StartGameKey) and (IsFirstStartGame = True) then IsFirstStartGame = False : LeftSlingShot_Slingshot : RightSlingShot_Slingshot
...
End Sub

Doing this way the issue is removed. I didn’t investigate if there is a better way to solve it. This patch just leaves a strange behavior when you press the start game button the very first time after launching the table, it activates simultaneously the slingshots.

Have a great day.

Massimo
