What is a VP board?
What did you buy exactly?

And are you saying the entire PC crashes, as in OS crashes and PC restarts?

Looks like some part of the software is not registered right

but i dont know exactly what it is you bought

Its a homemade pinball machine. Yes the whole computer crashes and restarts. It starts with a buzzing sound for like a minute then this error message and then the computer crashes.

1st thing i would suggest before you touch anything is take it back to the seller.

Nothing VPX does should crash the entire PC

No, not really, because I agree with Weisshund. If you bought this from someone then make them fix it. However. That error message is related to the backglass. I know you want to play with that on. But, you could at least, if the error is always the same, turn off backglass and see if the tables become stable. If they do, you at least know where your problem is. But, I highly doubt that it will fix anything. It might be a windows setting that makes the computer reboot. I'm quite sure of that windows does have a setting where if a program crashes it should reboot.

To disable db2s. Just open the editor and go to preferences for keys and something else (... don't remember what it is called - maybe nudge), then there is this small checkbox that you can un-tick. Once you do that, tables won't load the backglass and you should be able to test the above.

Ok somebody else have a solution?

Since this vpin is a total unknown to us, pretty much all suggestions are going to roughly equate to nearly starting over.
Trying to make sure the OS and all drivers are up to date.
Reinstalling VPX 10.6.1
Reinstalling any other associated software the cab may or may not have (we dont know what it has hardware or software wise)

You can do this, but i doubt it is going to help you, i think you are just going to stare at a BSOD screen then

And nothing VPX does should be capable of BSODing a PC

Not VPX in and of itself, something else would need to be fatally wrong and VPX is just the trigger.

Advanced System Settings (under Control Panel > System and Security > System)

Click the Settings button under the "Startup and Recovery" heading.

Disable the "Automatically restart" checkbox.

Now PC will not reboot
And you will probably be staring at a BSOD screen, at best, you might get a useful stop code from it.

Bottom line though is you just paid some vendor cash money for a running vpin, and do not have a running vpin
it is up to them to make it right, or give you  your money back.

Thanks!

I  disabled the db2s but I still got the error. It start with a buzzing sound. If I leave the table the sound stops. Then I can play a half to one game then the buzzing sound comes back. If I don't leave the table the message comes and the computer shots down. Leaving it back is not an option :) The seller has been very helpful but he doesn't know what is wrong.

The message indicate that it is a reference in the b2s that's not right.

Im getting half insane...

Unless the seller is telling you to bring it back right away and he will reload everything if necessary, and make it right, and you are refusing
He isnt being very helpful.

If i manufactured and sold you a vpin, and it was not right the very day you get it home
i'd come to your house if i had to and you were close enough.

Something within the OS is crashing and B2S is just the victim.

Let it crash, and then after reboot, go see what is in event manager

Describing issues like these via text doesn't help me much. Would you maybe be able to take a video and share that ? I doubt that I'll know what it is from your description, but, who knows. Makes it at least easier to understand your current situation.

If he disables the auto reboot that i listed above
we might at least get a bsod screen with a stop code

I made a video but it impossible to load it into this forum. I also disabled auto reboot but it worked one time and the computer went nuts. I think it is the bios that makes peeping sounds before the message comes. Managed to get this picture

ctfmon.exe ? Try to disable that program. Doubt that it is the reason, but, I don't see why you should have that running.

Ctfmon.exe monitors the active windows and provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard, translation, and other alternative user input technologies.

Control panel -> Admin tools -> services -> Touch Keyboard and Handwriting panel service

Set this to disabled and stop the service.

Keep in mind, if this is not a cabinet, it may interfere with cortana use and some MS office functions

But that is not your issue
If you have things like ctfmon crashing, then you have either an OS issue, or a hardware issue

and not a VPX issue

And at this point, i strongly urge you to contact the manufacturer/seller and have them address the issue
You did pay for this thing after all.

I solved it. I turned off the smart fan in bios and let the fan go at full speed. I played for an hour without any error so the problem were overheating :)

In that case, unless the bios is somewhat faulty in either it's fan management or temp monitoring

I would look at;

The CPU fan, maybe it is beginning to fail and is only working right at full voltage

The heatsink, could need cleaned, or could need reseated with new thermal paste

The fan/heatsink combo itself
Is it adequate enough to actually cool the CPU under your average load without having to resort to being on full blast all the time.

Normally you can let the fan change speeds in response to thermal needs with no issues

EDIT

Almost forgot the most obvious
Is it struggling to maintain proper air flow, and enough cooler fresh air coming into the cabinet?
