Hi Desktop users !

Hi, I'm having a problem on some tables, which aren't showing the backdrop.

Pinball Magic (Pinball Magic (Capcom 1995)_Bigus(MOD) 1.0), is one example, Centaur is another.

Backdrops are visible in the table manager, but the background colour is shown, not the image.

I've tried exporting, reloading, renaming and changing the image, but nothing seems to work.

Any insight would be very welcome.

Thanks All!

Awesome! Sorted now - thanks muchly :)

Is there any reason why this wouldn't be a global setting?

Thanks for your help.

Perhaps it's because most of users have cabs, so they don't need to have backdrops, just a "one color" background

But I'm not sure :)

Because it is a per table thing, it depends on the author to leave it on or not

Even people with out cabs, a good number disable the backdrops, and set the color to just black
it detracts from the table less since it is all void except the table, and the scoring

Since i have dual screens, in desktop more, i even drag the scoring off the translite so i just have a table on solid black

On my laptop, i have one little screen only, so i either fold the laptop flat and play in cab view
with the VPM display on, rolled, and sitting on the apron
Or i play in desktop mode like this

If i want to be fancy when using my desktop PC (when i am not deconstructing my desk and office making a disaster of it)
I play like this

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Solution:  I just made the decals transparent via image editor and made the lights hidden.

Here is a question in regards to decals and backgrounds.  The table in question is Black Belt by destruk.  When I enable decals, I get about six lights that appear.  No problem, I just moved them.  Problem, for whatever reason, those decals I moved affect the ball release trigger when advancing belts.  So, is there a way to "hide" the decals AND have my background on?

Decals are not maneuverable, they cannot be hidden,

for these things EMReels are usually used.
