Manufacturer: Williams
Year: 1964
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Williams' Soccer

This is an authorized conversion of Bodydump's unreleased VP9 Soccer table. He redrew the playfield and plastics. For the backglass I modified Itchigo's version of it as I think his looked better.

A word of warning: this table does allow you to put multiple balls into play at one time. I would recommend against it. If you happen to get 2 balls into kickers, you can send this into a fit - I think the real table would have issues too.

Manual ball lift by default uses A or Right Magnasave keys.

ZIP includes B2s & wheel

Hi Jeff, thank you and Bodydump and Itchigo for this breath-taker. Another sample how inspired the people were!

For one thing I would kindly ask for a fix (my trial failed):

this is the plunger lane after initial start of the emulation = perfect:

after the 1st point is made this piece of wood appear:

Attached File  Soccer after 1st point earned.jpg   9.32KB   2 downloads

What is to be done to make this beauty flawless?

Thank you all again and have my best regards, Christian.

In backglass view, move "BlueTeamLight" out of the visible area.

Just in case if somebody raises the the nudge strength: This can led to a malfunction when a ball in the "Balls Played" window bounces to the left and lands in Kicker3. The result is that you'll have two balls kicked into the shooter lane (when you use the automatic ball lift, at least).

Gate4 should avoid this, but the way it's placed it's effectless.

Fix:

Change the Surface for Gate4 from Ramp3 to Ramp1.

Reduce the length of Gate4 to 60.

Lower Gate4 a litte so that is just covers Ramp1, and move it a litte to the right to that it's placed directly after the kicker.

When you use the standard nudge strength of "2" ( and probably some higher values) you can leave everything as it is. I use "6", and with that force i have the aforementioned problem.

(And now Loserman76 can tell me again i shouldn't be so rough with his tables. Hahaha!)

Don't be so rough. I'd boot you from my arcade if it were a real table - haha

Anyways, fix going up. Thanks as always Albert for finding these issues.
