When Williams released a new 1-player in 1969, the 'Paddock', a variant was built especially for the Italian market: "Post Time". However, the containers full of these flippers were refused by Italian customs. Send back to the US was too expensive. Loontjens, a coin machine operator in The Netherlands saw his chance, and bought the entire lot for next to nothing. And everywhere in the south west of The Netherlands you could find this game.
 
Because “Post Time” was especially designed for the Italian market there was no credit wheel visible. Instead, a white window had been placed with the text “previous high score”. So, you could not win a new game but you could win 5 extra balls per ball (Add-a-ball).
 
An anecdote is circulating about the design. In 1969 Harry Williams was director of the eponymous pinball factory Williams. And Harry was a passionate horse lover. When one of his racehorses lost a race in a very clumsy way, it caused quite a bit of hilarity for Harry's colleagues. (Reportedly, the beast put his four hooves in the sand in the middle of the trail for no reason, and did not want to move forward or backward). Designer Norm Clark and draftsman Christian Marche (RIP) saw the humour in it and retreated behind their drawing boards. The result was Post Time. Harry's horse ended out of time. Reason for disqualification!

Very nice!  I love Williams EM's, and tables that have rollovers as a central part of the gameplay.  Good job on the re-creation, thanks!

 

I rolled the score reel over, but my Highscore entry didn't reflect my true score.  (I had a good game.. I think it was like 9 balls. lol)

Thanks Wim - nice Table, for me i only changed to a 4:3 directb2s - and did some small Changes in Script, e.g. for keycodes to Letters ( = LeftFlipperKey and = RightFlipperKey )

keycode = 2 could be also = StartGameKey ...

Which lines in the script have to be changed?

But points and balls to play are not displayed.

Yes, you're right. At first I didn't look further into the script, but now i see that the scripting regarding the B2S is rather strange: Every call for the B2S has a "If ShowDt=False", so you have to change them all. You should use the "Replace" function in the editor.

Hope someone can help with this one.

 

B2S scoring is not working.  If I try Albert's suggested, the B2s scoring works, but not the DT reel.

 

My line 54 reads Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server").

 

I really would like to have both of these working at once, if possible.

Try going to Line 72 in the Table script and you will see this...

Delete that word and try the table.

Here are all the edits you will have to make in table script, to have Backglass running and the DT reel at same time.

Since your Line 54 is actually Line 55, just subtract one from all these.

So if it says Line 54, it will be Line 53 in your script.

if you have your direcbt2s / BG on Screen 2, then why you need also DT Reels, and where ?

 

There should be controller.vbs Function to Script, instead of the manual Controller Settings, it is a small Change.

I went through all of the script and posted  everything that needed to be edited to achieve this.
