Hello all,

I'm on my third attempt to get my cabinet setup working properly. I was fortunate enough to find a download that contained about 300 vpx tables that helped me get something going on it. Unfortunately it did not include any backglass files. Obviously I can go and download the ones I want but was wondering if anyone knows of a collection out there to download that would give a relative noob a jumpstart on getting things setup? I'm not looking for 1000 images. I'm happy to pick and choose once I get a base to work off of.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas.

Rob

Hi Rob.

You are probably new to this Hobby and we are welcoming you. One thing that you will quickly realize is that this kind of practice ( mass download, torrents etc ) is being frowned upon.

Why?
Because table creators are offering for free their tables which take months... sometimes years to create.

As a sign of appreciation, the community is asking that every table be hosted on their respective websites.

What can someone do to show their gratitude?
By visiting the website and leaving a comment about your impressions and saying thank you. That's all that is asked.

For the backglass, there is a section on this site and other sites like vpuniverse that will host the backglass. As a matter of fact you will notice that a lot of them are created by an awesome guy called Wildman.

That was not a slam, just a friendly notice how virtual pinball works and trust me, you will get a lot more support from everybody if you comply with the community's best practice.

Thanks for the info guys! I really appreciate it.

This project has been two years long for me and I'm just now getting to the point where I can play with it. Aside from being a bit overwhelmed by it all, I do find it extremely fascinating.

I look forward to interacting with the community.

Even if such a thing existed, you would still have to tweak every table in one way or another. It's always best to go one table at a time.

The quickest way to find a backglass is to Google the table name followed by b2s.
