File Name: Stephen King's Pet Sematary (TBA 2019)

File Submitter: ivantba

File Submitted: 17 May 2019

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): ivantba
Bord
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

One of Stephen King's best selling books and films is the Pet Sematary, which is still one of his most popular works to this day. The second film was also very cool and extremely horror oriented.
This year, in 2019, a REMAKE version was created to celebrate the 30-year centenary. Each artwork has a place in the wide range of horror movies, but it is up to everyone's taste to decide which version is closer to his heart...
My pinball table reminds me of the classic 1989 version. The music of the Ramones band's fantastic theme is included as "table audio".

Special thanks to my girlfriend for providing useful ideas and advice on how to create a more Sematary playfield:)

Video of the gameplay:

An important thing: the content of the music library -mp3 file- are placed in the following folder: Visual Pinball\Music

So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Original (my resource) table:
Dracula (Stern 1979) v1.2
Author(s): Bord
Thank you very much to Bord for allowing the Dracula table's to be costumized.

You can find the necessary rom file to start the table here (dracula.zip):

Hello Slydog43! A solution might be to start and load the directb2s file with the backglass designer program. File --> Settings --> 'B2S DMD' Location setting. Then switch from 3 monitor displays to 2 monitors or another tipp: select the "NO 'B2S DMD'" option. When you are ready you can save or import the file.

Creepy background music!!

Perfect ambience for a Stephen King table!!!

Great theme for a pinball table!!

Thank you for sharing your work!! And thanks to your girlfriend for helping you!!

It is appreciated.

I am surprised there are not more Stephen King tables being made.

He is afterall, one of the best Horror authors who ever lived!!!

And alot of great movies based on his books!!

I thought about making a Stephen Kings "It" Pinball table, with that scary fricken clown, or Sleepwalkers table!!

But I am usually pulled more towards the scifi themes, than the horror ones, when I am modding tables.

Thanks again!!

Carry on.

Hello! Xenonph! I am especially pleased with the lines you wrote. Is it strange that Stephen King's table hasn't been made so far? I'm glad to have one, and so in the future, if someone else likes to get a new table from the horror master:)
Hmm, it would be fantastic to have a Sleepwalkers themed table once!
Good to mention! Well, yes, so I'm proud of my girlfriend who is useful for playfield ideas:)
By the way! I still use those rollover pictures for my tables that You gave me!:) Thanks Xenonph!
