All of my FP tables will load and play fine for the first game.  Then, as soon as the last ball is done, the table just doesn't reset for a new game.  Sometimes, the flippers and launch buttons will cause sound effects on the table instead of power their respective components.  It does this for every FP table, whether I run it through FPloader or PinballX.  Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated, as I'm absolutely at my wit's end!  I've double-checked to make sure all applications are set to run as administrator, and have made sure all .dll files are unblocked.

Troubleshooting is one of the most tidious task and can be very frustrating.

I don't have an exact solution for your described problem, bit here's what I would do.

1. I would disconnect all usb perriferals. Except for Keyboard and mouse

2. I would close everything and restart windows

3. Disconnect monitor 2 and 3 and only leave the playfiled.

4. Launch Future pinball and not bam.

5- in the settings set it only to 1 screen and disable backglass and arcade mode.

Launch the game

You will see how it behaves, it it does the same thing at least you have just eliminated a bunch of possibly. What I would say is re install from the original file found on the Future Pinball website and try again.

If it plays fine I would slowly start reconnecting your components 1 at a time and test it.

Ok, I'll give that a try. I'm only at the software phase currently, so only have keyboard, mouse, and 2 monitors running things. I appreciate the help tremendously, and also owe you a huge thanks for your tutorials, as they're truly bringing me through this project!

This site is a great help and everyone on it is so helpful. Everyone has their specialty as it is very difficult to be good at everything.

Just report back if you find out as someone else will eventually have the same issues.

You might open the FP editor and open the "Video / Rendering Options" and make sure you have "Vertical Sync" checked.

Ok, so I'm able to get the tables to work launching with the Future Pinball exe. For some reason, launching with fploader doesn't display the DMD or the pop up window to enter initials at the end of the game (which is where it's been getting hung up and not starting a new game). I'm going to try to do a fresh download and install of BAM to see if that might fix my problem. Again, I greatly appreciate all the help, and any other suggestions on this issue are welcome.

... and set the Model Quality to "high"

I have both vertical sync and high quality models checked. It just seems like BAM isn't playing nice with FP. It won't display the DMD on the backglass, and won't pop up the 'enter your initials' windows at the end of the game. This is so frustrating, as I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled FP and BAM straight from their respective sites. Thank you all so much for your suggestions, and I welcome any others you might end up thinking of. Willing to try ANYTHING at this point lol...

You might try running this: https://www.ravarcad...P-BAM-setup.exe It installs FP and BAM at the same time and often fixes problems. You can run it even though you have it installed already. You might want to read my guide here: http://gopinball.com...php?f=84&t=6054

Thanks so much, everyone! I will try a fresh install of FP + BAM this evening to see if that fixes things.

Ok, I uninstalled FP and BAM, and did a fresh install of the 2 in 1. I am still having the exact same problems running things from fploader. No DMD displays, and high score screen doesn't pop up so I can't finish any games. Feeling utterly defeated...

That's taken me a step in the right direction! I uninstalled FP, completely cleared the registry, and then reinstalled the 2-in-1.  Now, the DMD is displaying when playing a table through FPLoader.  I also get a pop up window at the end of the game for entering initials, but it is completely blank.  The game will allow me to make blind selections to get through the initial entry and start a new game.  I do still end up with a BAM CRASH text file after exiting as well.  Just spitballing, but could this be an issue due to lack of memory?  I'm currently running 4GB, and one thread I read seemed to suggest boosting virtual memory could solve certain issues.  I'm assuming adding physical memory would do the same.  Thank you as always!

BAM sometimes generates crash reports when it doesn't need to. Try deleting it and play again top see it it gets generated again. I am guessing the problem is caused by something else on your system. Does the problem occur when you play a table with FP but without BAM?

Going to 8 GB of memory may help but any more than 8 you're probably just throwing away money...

What are you running for a computer system including video card?

I'm assuming you went over the information In post 9?

Under the video settings did you try Minimum in FP

Yes, I've reviewed all of the setup information multiple times and have watched a lot of videos walking through it. I dont think I missed anything, but it's certainly not outside of the realm of possibility. My system is a Dell Optiplex 780 running Windows 7, Q9550 quad core processor, and ATI Firepro V5800 graphics card.

I'll try running it on minimum settings to see if that helps at all. As always, thank you for all the help on this!
