I'm trying to get the VPX version of Dirty Harry working but it insists on a Backglass. I don't want to use the backglass because the only one avaliable is 32MB and loads after the table hidding my DMD behind it. There is no option in the script to Set Controller = CreateObject('VPinmame.Controller'). Is there a new method to tell a table not to bother with b2S?

Unfortunately that kills the backglass for every other game. It's only the Dirty Harry game I want to disable the glass. Thanks anyway.

Yes but the table keeps bringing up an error that the B2s file is missing and I can't find where it calls it in the script

Old thread, but I'm new around here:

I'm getting the same error on Pizza Time (direct download from OrbitalPin - first table I've ever had to install a PuP pack on, but hey, I'm here to learn!) - it doesn't even need a b2s since it's all PuP'ed out anyway (again, I know nothing about how PuP packs work, I've been doing purely B2S for the other 274 tables I've collected).

I know how to turn ON b2s or add in the script if it's not already added, but I'd love to know how to kill this in the script without turning off b2s for EVERY other table.

[EDIT]: I created a static B2S from a still image of the PuP BG, and now I get no error, it just flashes on the screen for a moment before the PuP BG loads over it. Dumb solutions to dumb problems!!!

just right click ANY backglass

uncheck the option to show error

then run any table with no backglass file and no complaint message

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Same as before - old thread, newbie to VP. I too have the pleasure of setting up PuP for a Batman table but since I have multiple Batmen it is pulling up a backglass for another table. I guess I too could go the static image b2s but wondering if there is an actual solution, some flag to set or whatever. Thanks in advance...

I figured a workaround out - I manually added an entry for the table in B2TableSettings.xml

No workaround needed, no need to mess with files and settings!

Right click on backglass and select „exact b2s name“

Just delete the backglass file. Done. Its normal that the backglass is hidden behind the Table Window if you are a Desktop User. To get the backglasses in front of the tables you need to install and configure DMDext.

how do you make that work?

for me it worked at the start, but then  it stopped working, the DMD renders and then backglass stays on the background

This started up with another table for me. Exact name is checked, I have an entry in the XML file, but it is loading a different table's backglass. :(

Attached a file to show the clue table showing the clash backglass even though exact name is set
