What happened to the Gottlieb roms? Why aren't available anymore?

Just like Gottlieb manuals there is an entity out there that is represented by a law team the owns these rights and enforces them.

Licensing and rights[edit]

Today, Gottlieb's pinball machines (along with those distributed under the Mylstar and Premier names), as well as the "Gottlieb" and "D. Gottlieb & Co." trademarks (USPTO registration nos. 1403592, 2292766, and 3288024, and other numbers in countries around the world), are owned by Gottlieb Development LLC of Pelham Manor, New York. Most of Gottlieb's video games are currently owned by Columbia Pictures.

I told a few people a long time ago...

Why not download all the roms available?

That way when a table comes up, you will already have the rom for it.

There were people saying...oh  there is no need to download all the roms.

I bet everybody was laughing at me back then, but I bet they aint laughing anymore.

is an edited post, posting links to roms is just as bad as hosting roms

if you are looking for gotlieb roms google for sites that host them.

Don't understand how you are able to live without google. You obviously are.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Its not pointless. You can purchase the rom chip and extract the rom image from it to legitimately play the Gottlieb VPX table ;)

Yep, since I'm a dinosaur and love the old EM machines, I sucked those all down a long time ago. And Gottlieb, why don't you work with the SIM community? It will benefit all.
