Dof works fine in vpx and pinballx.  when I try and regester do to use the plugin for pinballx, it comes back with and error: registering the DirectOutput COM object returned the following information: exit code 100

So freakin wise. I have been frustrated for 2 days. Thanks man
In my defense I was stumped by the fact that I couldn’t get any plugin to work with 64 bit pinballx. I finally came across a post where they talked about 64 bit having issues with plugins .
Is there a way to edit the dof pinballx plugin

Yes, on the DOF Config Tool site, you can customize the PinballX table config behavior

after updating to the latest DOF (DirectOutput-mjr-x64-release-20241105) i'm running into the same issue: the x86-Version is re-registering fine, but the x64-Version just throws this error code 100 when trying to re-register te COM object. Running as admin doesn't change the shit.

anyone has an idea? i'm thankful for every hint

If you disabled UAC, that's probably the problem.

I am trying not to have to run / register both an x86 and x64 version, so in my attempts to ONLY use x64 I am getting the same error 100 when trying to register the COM object. Ran as Admin, Turned UAC Back on, Tried it All the different ways I could think and it still won't work. I know its not a "massive issue" but since I can't register it Im guessing this is why it wont work with FP. It works with DOFLinx and VPX no problem even without the register com. Any other ideas to try?

Uninstall, turn UAC on (and don't keep turning it back off - it has to stay on PERMANENTLY for DOF to work correctly, because it changes how the registry keys work when you turn it off), reinstall.
