That is the blurriest PF I've seen in ages. You should start a series of 1k mods.

There are some nice improvements to this table. The playfield isn't one of them. I ran it through some filters in photoshop and it's a bit better. But no clue where you came up with 4k Hannibal.

Perhaps removing the "4K" from your title, and just having "Hannibal's Edition" would be sufficient to perhaps quell this before it gets out of hand.

All of the people negatively commenting about your "4K" are leaders in this community.

That should tell you something. They know what they are talking about.

It would be like telling your friends to come check out your new cool surround sound system, and they come over only to find one speaker that is placed above head on ceiling.

People will download and try out your table uploads whether there is a 4K or not in title. No need to embellish. People will see for themselves. Proof is in the pudding.

But when they see 4K in title and then play table, and its not in 4K, you can see where they think you have not told the truth in your title.

Simple solution...Delete 4K from the title. Everyone will still download your table.

This all is just my personal opinion, as I hate to see anyone having conflict in this pinball community. From leaders to the newcomers and everyone in between.

We are all here to have fun and pass on that fun to others.

That is what this community is all about.

I agree, and it would be a smaller download in addition.. Just drop the 4K and continue doing the rest of the MODs to the table..

I agree with everything Xenonph said but at the same time I think some are blowing this out of proportion.  We need all the table builders we can get and some of the comments on his releases seem a bit harsh. If I see a table with a one-star review, I am assuming that you can’t even launch the ball. That’s obviously not the case here. Yes, the 4K may confuse some people (do I need a 4K TV to play this?) and may be overselling the quality but the work he has done is good.  He made a VPX version of T3 that, after a few tweaks we made, looks very good and plays great. It’s one of my favorites VPX tables that wouldn’t exist without his efforts.

I do agree to say 4k does need to be 4k if possible! On the other hand hollywood does sell 4k movies whom are as a matter of fact also not all in true native 4k shot and mastered. I say therefore the effort and spirit and enthusiasm are always very welcome, just maybe rename 4k to a lower resolution like 2k until a better solution is possible and everything is solved. :-)

Because of past tables, when I see the thread with the 4K title, my initial reaction is to just skip downloading it instead of the natural intent to do so (I download all fullscreen tables to test on the pincab). If your intention was to create a brand, you are currently achieving the reverse

The intent is not to pile on negativity here, i like some of the work done on other tables (don't think I tried T3 for reasons listed), just keep in mind your brand is hurting and it won't get better until you either use real 4K sources for textures or change the brand name. I really don't recommend using 5K or any higher numbers with a K ;)

Alternatively, I really hope you continue your work since we can always use quality VP authors and you have shown some good progress in areas of your table builds.

so i'm guessing you think this is just about 4K or not 4K???  if so you have missed the point completely.... this goes for anyone thinking this is solly a mislabeling faux pas
this is a known offender of many many untruths, from posting unauthorized tables to not even credit when credit is do
a builder??...lol   come on man dudes a doodadder, like a crafter with a bedazzler ....
so before you try to start a cumbia moment know what's behind these comments...

For me it’s not a matter of 4K or not but a “mod” of a table just to upload it and that’s the part that makes me feel it’s more of disrespect. A perfectly fine version is already available but just not available here until this “4k mod”.
