Thanks to freneticamnesic for there nice VP9 table and the permission for convert to VP10.
And additionally special thank to GLX, gtxjo, Highlnder00 and anybody else where working on the previous versions before.
 
In this table I have create some new scripts for an ballistic impulse to the "MAP" section and some sound scripts for moving parts.
I have modified many Textures, Physics, Playfield and Objects according to the real version of the table, and have created some special light effects, I hope you like it.
 
Generally enjoy this nice table and have fun with 8 Ball Multiball

I’m having a few problems.

The script shows cGameName = "ij4_210", but I cannot find that in the ROM section.

I tried to play the table to see if any ROM message would show up, other than it’s missing.

However I get these two additional error messages.

VBScript error message:
Unable to open sam .VBS. Ensure that it’s in the same folder as this table.

Script Error:
Line 21: Variable in undefined: ‘BSize’

 

Any ideas what I need to do in order to fix this?

buen dia.you must search "stern game code" in google,in this page have the stern roms,searh indiana jones,download it,unzip the rom,rename this rom by "ij4_210",and compress in zip format

You need to have this one, see line 27 in the script

No problem for me, the table works fine (VPinMAME 3.0 / last VPX 10.5)

I Googled & found the ROM & put it in the roms folder.

 

I still get line 106 message that Game Name not found.along with the 2 previously mentioned error messages.

 

What am I not doing properly?

Do you have all your ".VBS"  files in your "table" folder or in VPinball -> Script folder ?

All the .VBS files are in the Scripts folder. I looked & there is no sam.VBS file.

 

When I did the update VP10.4 a few months ago I used the all-in-one installer so I presumed it installed all the latest components.

 

I looked in the Scripts folder that came with the VP10.4 installer, and all the files have newer dates than the ones in my Visual Pinball > Scripts folder.

 

IOW the 10.4 installer did NOT update my Scripts folder. Should it have?

 

The sam.VBS file did NOT come with 10.4 all-in-one installer either.

I downloaded the Stand Alone 10.4 and copied the files to my VP folder. The new Scripts folder has the sams.VBS so that's a good start.

 

But I still get the line 106 error message that Game Name not found. I checked and ROM ij4_210.zip is in the roms folder. Could it be broken?

 

I tried a ij4_210.zip file that I found and also used the method mentioned in message #7 to create a .zip ROM. Neither ROM worked.

Try installing official version 3.0 of PinMAME found here...

Simply copy all of the files in the ZIP into your already existing Visual PinMAME directory. Overwrite already existing files there when asked.

Run Setup.exe and press the 'Install' button. Also you may want to press the 'Setup Defaults' button to tweak the new options, like sound mode for example.

 

Or you can try the new 3.1 BETA of PinMAME found here..

I am running PinMAME 2.9 which I will update to 3.0. But I'd like to try something first.

 

When doing my search for the ROM, one thing I saw was to test the ROM in PinMAME but I could not figure out how to do that.

 

Another thing I read said the ROM had to be installed in PinMAME. At least that was my interpretation.

 

Do either of these steps make sense and/or have to be done? If so, how do you run PinMAME? Or do you have use the setup.exe file?

That just means the rom has to be in rom folder.

(Or that the ROM has to be added to PinMAME by the devs.)

 

You can test a rom by clicking Setup.exe and then click Test as seen in pic..

 

When you upgrade to 3.0 this table will work for you.

Be sure to run Setup.exe after copying over.

And click INSTALL.

Previously I did what you mentioned but the ij4_210 ROM does not show up in the Games list even though ij4_210.zip is in the roms folder. So I presumed I was not doing something properly. Apparently it has to be added to PinMAME by the devs as you stated. Time to upgrade to 3.0.
