Hi,

I have finished a VP9 Inder Centaur pin. Unfortunately the ROM file availiable for download on vpforums is not working. Gaston has provided a new, complete dump that should replace the current file.

As Noah has not yet read the PM I sent, maybe some other admin can step in.

Regards

Michael

Hi there, can't wait to play this table, but the ROM centuari.zip file isn't working for me.  Testing with VPinMAME Installation program gives CRC errors.  Does anyone know where I can download a working ROM?

Thanks!

The only rom that works right now for this table is posted as an attachment in the first post above.

Place this rom in your roms folder.

When you download the table it will have a inder_centaur.vbs file included that needs to be moved to your scripts folder.

Table is here...http://www.vpforums....&showfile=12937

When you first start the table, it will give a rom error. Click the error off and start table again. Keep clicking this error off until table runs.

(I think it only took 2 or 3 times for me, and then the table loaded, and loads every time now without error.)

Once the table loads and works one time, it will always load and work with no errors after that.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the reply Xenonph, but still no luck.

I have downloaded the centuari.zip ROM posted at the top of this page, (file size is 5.13k), and copied into the ROMs folder.

I also copied the inder_centaur.vbs to the scripts folder, (originally had it sitting in the tables folder), but still getting the CRC error.  I click OK on the ROM error message 20 times but still doesn't load the ROM correctly.

Any idea what else it could be?

Cheers,

Sammy.

Do you have the latest PinMAME installed?

Not exactly sure when this table was added to PinMAME, but you may be using an older version PinMAME that doesn't have this table included.

Find version 2.9 here...http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11571

Installation:
Simply copy all of the files in the ZIP into your already existing Visual PinMAME directory. Overwrite already existing files there when asked.

Then run Setup.exe located in Visual Pinball folder, to start installation of PinMAME.

See if this helps.

It will still have error, until you keep clicking it off and retrying start of table.

Also make sure you don't have any copies of vbs scripts in tables folder, if you have them in scripts folder also. This may cause a conflict.

Hi Xenoph,

thank You for the continued support. I have a busy time, unfortunately. And yes, the centauri ROM has been added after pinmame 2.5 - I am not sure exactly when.

Sammy, You can easily check Your installed version of pinmame. Go to the folder ..Visual Pinball\pinmame\VPinMAMETest. Start VPinMameTest.exe and try to find the ROM "centauri" within the game list (top left box). The "About button at the bottom right tells You the version number.

I am using 2.8 now and there centauri is availiable.

If the ROM is availiable and You still get CRC errors, please PM me with an e-mail-address, I can send You my working ROM file.

Regards

Michael

Thanks Xenonph and Mfuegemann, that was it.  I was running an older version of VPinMAME, upgraded to 2.9 and it's working now!

One thing I noticed with the new version of VPinMAME, I now get a splash screen coming up when I launch any ROM games.  It's no big deal but was just wondering if there is a way to disable this.

Again, thanks for all the support guys, looking forward to playing this game over the weekend.

Cheers,

Sammy.

Tick 'cabinet mode'

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

To tick cabinet mode, run your setup.exe again and you will see this menu when you click setup defaults.. This will effect all tables.

Or you can do this on a per ROM basis. Simply click F1 while table is loaded, and this will bring up the same as above ROM menu setting for that particular table. This will only effect the 1 tables rom.
