File Name: Minions Pinball

File Submitter: javier1515

File Submitted: 25 Jan 2017

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): Javier
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Table created by ROM in 2015 for Future Pinball based on the movie Minions.

Thanks to the new functions of vpx 10.2.0 now it is more sensible to carry tables from FP to VPX I hope it is to your liking and enjoy the table

Thanks: Arngrim for DOF

Installation:
Remember to put the Music folder in the root of the directory where VP is installed.
The Minions.UltraDMD folder has to be placed in the Tables folder.

The table uses UltraDMD users with Cab, for users DT simply in the UltraDMD right click and disable it from there and thus only use the DMD of JPSalas.

Look forward to trying this!

So Javier you mentioned that with the additions to VPX 10.2 it now makes more sense to move tables from FP to VP. Did you mean because of the functionality or it is easier to recreate? I would love to have Aliens: Legacy in the VPX format.

I'm going to check this out and thanks for everything you do for the community.

Speaking of FP to VPX, is there any chance you might want to convert the Goonies FP table to VPX? That would be so awesome!

Thanks javier! Minions is about the only reason I still even have FP. So glad to have this! I also really like road rules on FP… Any chance of a conversion of that?

Very cool, nice one javier1515, I adjusted the backdrop settings a tad for my 1920x1080 monitor, works for me and maybe for others...

mdt_t.jpg

Also it did not ask me to enter my initials, even though I clearly had a highscore?

I always have a slight studder no UltraDMD tables. JP did some updates just over new years for his own tables going from version 1.2.0 til 1.2.1. That helped some and then Sensless gave me a tip to set the UltraDMD timer to a value of 1 in another thread. On this table it helps, but, it doesn't play as fluent as JP'. There is still some studder. I wonder what JP did going from 1.2 to 1.2.1 - would like to test that out and maybe get also this table to run fluently.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

How much did you lower it by in the settings?  I find that the scale is not linear... ei the first 50 does very little and it's not until after 50 that the change starts to become noticeable.

Try a setting as low as 30 or perhaps even 20 and see if that makes a difference.  If there are specific sounds that you wish to adjust, then there are sections in the script that can be tweaked, but the sound you want reduced will need to be known.
