Started working on fixing apron on Andromeda table made by dboyrecords. (Thanks for allowing mods without permission Sir!!)

Blacked out al black areas of apron. Reshaped border lines around scorecards. Changed color to yellow as seen at IPDB. adjusted wood in plunger area. Adjusted upper left plastic lane divider to show 2 rows of dots. Added rubber under upper right plastic. Adjusted other plastics, including rollover dividers at top of table. cleaned up image at top of table. Added metal texture to side of upper plastic. Added metal wire to all  rollovers.Adjusted plastic on left side of plunger lane and to add wood divider look. Filled in orange colors on apron, and added lane shift arrows on each side of apron. Added scorecards to apron. Also fixed the one light on playfield that had square around it that didn't blend in with current playfield. I still need to add "FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY" at center top of apron.

I am still working on this, but this is what it looks like so far...

Here is what the original apron looked like..

capture240_t.png

I will make a DT and FS version. I may make day and night mods also.

I noticed there isn't a dB2S Backglass available here for download.

I may try to make one, but it won't have an intregrated DMD, as I have not learned how to do that.(YET!!) But I have seen pics on IPDB that shows exactly where each backglass lights are located.(I know how to do this!!)  I can also more than likely find all the other flashing lights like Ball in Play and Game Over and such.

I also changed physics on upper rollover lane dividers and the upper gates by setting higher elasticity level, so the ball doesn't always go into the same rollover slot on plunger pull.

What do you think?

Added "FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY" to apron.

Got rid of missing gap in upper center plastic.

Got rid of grey and white lines around border of playfield. (Top and left side.)

Added lit up rollover lane dividers at top of playfield from pics at IPDB.

Here is what it looks like...

capture401_t.png

Next I think I am going to try and redo the lights. Specifically the upper 3 lights above rollovers in upper playfield. They are fuzzy and blurred.

Thank you for your time.

Added stars and planets at upper playfield.

Changed upper 3 blue lights so they are not blurry

Added wood side to left side as seen at IPDB.

Also redrew plastic right next to that wood. (Hand-Drawn...harder than you think)

The flippers seem like they are too far apart. Ball goes down center way too much. Also the left flipper seems a little high., when the ball rolls over it, there is like a bump. I will lower this left flipper.

Here is what it looks like...

capture224_t.png

I have been taking my time on this to make sure it turns out good. I could have just uploaded this after fixing only the apron, but there are too many other things that need attention.

Going to work on a db2s backglass after adjusting flippers.

Have a great day folks!!

I didn't like the hand drawn plastic, so I cropped pic on IPDB and made a decal for the plastic on left side of lower bumper. Well now it had a different color than the rest, so I had to change all the bottom plastics. Just finished adding the bat plastic on left side. I will finish adding all new plastics to upper and middle when I wake up. (I love working on these Pinball games, but coffee can only keep you awake for so long!!)

Here is what it looks like so far...

capture80_t.png

I also redid the lit up rollover dividers and made them decals. Here is a pic of it without the plastics redid yet, so you can compare the new plastics. You will notice the left plastic bat matches the drain bat color.

capture119_t.png

Have a great morning!!

Keep on Pinballin'

Added more plastics. I can't find a better "top of the playfield" plastic so I might try to fix with paint. All the new plastics have white pegs.

I am thinking about redoing the playfield with pics at IPDB.

Here is what it looks like with plastics done. (Unless I keep messing with them!!)

capture225_t.png

Since these plastics are decals, I wont be able to use all of them on DT conversion, I can only make the lower plastics look right, anything above and the dimensions are out of whack.

Here is a pick of what the DT conversion looks like so far..

capture315_t.png

Going to try and redo playfield.

Or at least try and add grey bat to center playfield.

Have a great night!!

GO HAWKS!!!

Ok I think I am done with this "Apron MOD", That turned into being alot more than apron modded. I added grey bat to center playfield, and added new brighter bumper picks. Also added new blue rings under bumpers. If I mod anywhere else on playfield, I will have to redo all the lights!! I might add a few more decals of playfield points and such.

Other than that, this mod is finished and almost ready for upload!!

capture514_t.png

The next time you see this table, it will be in the downloads section.

Just finished uploading FS and DT mods.

I also made a dB2S backglass, and then found another pic, so I made 2 more versions.

So 3 dB2S Backglass versions found here..

http://www.vpforums....&showfile=12574

I didn't see a dB2S backglass for this table here, so I made one. And then Made 2 more.

Hope you like them.

Your Miami Dolphins had a great year, and 20 other teams didn't do as well as your Dolphins did this year!!  Hopefully will see them in the playoffs next year. Tannehill will hopefully stay healthy. The Steelers have a knack for dashing playoff dreams. (I still have nightmares of Superbowl 40!!!)

I am hoping the Packers beat the Cowboys. That way if the Seahawks can beat the Falcons, we will have the NFC Championship game up here and host another home game!!

I still can't thank you enough Sir, for the graphics card upgrade. I actually work more on these tables than I play them. But I love doing it. I can stay up 2 or 3 nights in a row without sleep,(with no drugs!!) working on these tables. I learn something new everyday!! For instance, I didnt know how to make the LED's for the dB2S backglasses to function properly, until yesterday when I made the dB2S backglasses for these mods. I thought a ROM ID was needed for each LED.

I LOVE PINBALL!!!

If you notice, all the mods that I make, are usually just tables they didnt make a DT version for(Millionaire DT) or FS version for(Super Nova FS), or needed apron help or graphics help. I am not just picking these tables randomly. I see where there might be a need, and I try to fill that need.

THANK YOU SO MUCH STEVE!! (Slydog43)

I WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR ACT OF KINDNESS!!!

GOD BLESS!!!

Looks like a nice table it only gives 1 ball per game.

I found the below line in the script but im not sure how to change it or is there something else I should look for?

in the below line at this point                   Array("1 ball",1,"2 balls              I made the 1 between the comas  ,1,  changed it to  ,5,    still only 1 ball per game

Thanks for any help

.AddFrame 210,76,190,"Balls per game",&H00C00000,Array("1 ball",1,"2 balls",&H00400000,"3 balls",&H00800000,"5 balls",&H00C00000)'dip 23+24

After launching the table press F6, in the DIP switches menu you can also change the balls per game.

Thanks for the help

I changed it to 5 balls and when the second ball enters the top of the plunger it comes up with this error

I tried several versions of the game they are all the same

Script error

(Null)

Line 76      aX = int(SBall.VelX): aY = int(SBall.VelY)

Took out lines 76 and 77 now it plays good

:db:

The Table plays nice thanks for all the work

If you want some more it would be even nicer if the spinners on the top were colored like the one below white with the red design instead of grey and there is a stop next to the colored spinner maybe the same design  instead of grey.

Everything else looks really nice.
