File Name: Mortal Kombat II Pinball Edition VPX

File Submitter: javier1515

File Submitted: 15 Dec 2016

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): Javier
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

In tribute to the mythical game MKII created by Ed Boon in 1993.

installation:
To run the table you need vp10.2 rev2830 onwards.
Enter the Music folder where you have VP installed.
For FS version you have to put the folder Mortal Kombat II.UltraDMD where the table is, usually in "C: \ Visual Pinball \ Tables"
For Players DT have to right click on the UltraDMD and disable it from there.

Rules:
Multiples ramps for combos
8 16 or 24 ramps for extraballs
Defeat all characters for multiballs
Complete MK Targets for Multiball
etc..

It's my first original table, so please do not be hard on me jajjajaj

Thanks..
JPSalas, DevTeam and all those who work hard every day so that VP keeps growing more and more.

Indeed!

Any chance you could modify it though so that all machines without B2S will also work (e.g. use Arngrims Controller.vbs) out of the box?

you uploaded it. :nunchacku:  Nice. Downloading now.  thanks Javier. It looks great.

i get error cant load b2s. This is a cab version. Hope you dont mind but I am going to remove the B2S script so I can play it on my PC.

I hope you consider releasing a PC version for others who don't know scripts. I am guessing here that half the people on here don't own a CAB.

Ok cool, It took me about 30 minutes, but I turned it into a PC version. Removed the B2S scripts and Made the music internal.

I placed the music in my Visual Pinball folder and it was showing MKTrack-8 not found. So I just re scripted it to internal.

^_^ works perrfect. Very Nice Javier.

It can be much simpler, as i wrote, by just using Arngrims Controller.vbs instead. This encapsulates DOF and B2S and PROC so that one does not need to know anymore if a user has B2S installed or not.

Can anyone point me to Arngrims controller.vbs file. Not sure if it's in the latest 10.2 beta?
Thanks!

@Johngreve - all latest scripts are included in the beta.

Works fine on my cabinet. Great table with some interesting features. I like the hologram overlay in attract mode and selecting of the character.

Sound effects and music are very nicely integrated in the gameplay (that really adds to the atmosphere and gameplay).

toxie - is the Arngrims Controller some type of addon ? I would install B2S but im not on a cab so it would probably make my screen look all split. It wasnt that bad only like 20 lines of script that i pulled out. Then I changed the Sound Script to

Playsound  everything works fine.

also there was 1 small UpdatePlayerLights issue.  It said Script Exemption. So i removed that. now everything is fine. Played it for over an hour. Lots of fun. I got Shao Khan Bonus Multiball It was neat.

how to implement controller.vbs for rom tables, or originals is explained in my signature, the basis of the controller implementation is tiny, soundfx and dof commands make sense only for force feedback implementation, and prior to it we need a backglass, so i can intervene when a bg is out there for the table ;)

I get an error when running.  I do not have a direct.B2S for this yet but I'm not sure why it is trying to run it.

Line: 91 - ActixeX component can't create object: "B2S.Server"

Thanks for any help

here RTKii  -  Ryukoken - Non B2s Version of Javier's Mortal Kombat II.  all I did was remove the B2s and controller, and added the music tracks internally. Plays on new VPX 10.2 newest REV. This is the PC version Not for Cabs. It might play on cab, but now has no B2s or control scripts.

Ahh....yeah I am on cabinet.  I tried adding " ' " to those lines that call for B2S and then other errors came up.  I will just wait for the cabinet version.  Thanks for the info!

Well his original file is a cabinet version. I think you just have to add a B2S file. Have you checked here - http://www.vpforums....oads&showcat=17

B2S Backglass Server Installation might be what you need. And the game should work for you.

Hello javier1515.

I hope you don't mind i put a link to a PC version. I can remove the link if you don't want to share the PC version. Or you can Download it and re upload it here so that you can track the downloads. Then i can remove the link. Up to you.

Strange part is the PC version the Hologram starts off white. But later when it chooses player it shows up. I have no cab so its the only way it will play.
