Its always time for Monday Night Football!

Here is something a bit different.
Lock the ball in both left and ramp kickers and then go for the Long Bomb to release the ball!

Go 100 Yards and score a touchdown then kick the extra point through the uprights and then loop it again and again to light One Million on the Bomb Ramp.

DOF seems to be working fine - but perhaps it could use updating in the dof config tool.

The table uses the new controller.vbs code so if you have that done already, the backglass should startup just fine.

Notes:
The skill shot plunger settings are troublesome and  I was not able to get a consistent plunger to work. What seems to work for me, is to use my digital plunger button. Keyboard users will have to be very skillful as the difference between a 10 yard plunge and a 40 yard plunge is not easy to deduce.

Suggestions for the plunger, code changes, layback/FOV and anything else are always welcomed. Let me know if you have a ball flying off the ramp/table :-)

Suggest you grab the latest directb2s that I uploaded recently to go with the table. On the backglass, set the Skip Solenoids to 0 so the lamps can work properly. Should be no impact to performance with that on this table.

There is no F6 options configured but I will take a look if there is anything that might be beneficial there to add..

My High Score: 5,579,480 post if you beat it :-)

Enjoy!

Big thanks to the resource posters for making the build possible!

I just tried it out, it looks great! However, I am having an issue with the flippers, either staying up, or not moving at all when I press the buttons. So far, it is just on this table.

Thanks!

Sounds like VPx performance issues .. no errors shown? or hidden popups?

It's a problem with controller.vbs. It'll work with the .b2s installed

Nice work!

Any way to get the background music/sound any louder?

I tried to make the rom adjustment for Data East tables (hit 7 and 1, etc.), but I don't see volume as an option.

I also tried this with no luck: http://www.vpforums....=16303&p=141793

Also tried to mess with the pinmame registry for MNF volume. No go.

The 8 and 9 keys will not work on this table.  Only tables that used DMDs (with the exception of Gottlieb System 3 tables and a few others) use those keys as the volume control was integrated into the ROM.  Any alpha-numeric table produced (with a couple of exceptions) used analog controls in the cabinet.  You have to use the procedure I wrote in that post to adjust the volume of the table.  It worked for me when I tested it back then.

Not sure if + and - will work either, as I have not tested those keys to adjust volume.

Thanks guys. 8 and 9, tried. Nothing.

I think your procedure, ta2686, would work. I can feel it! But, I can't pull up the white box with the tilde key. I tried to look for .Hidden = 1 in the script. But, it is not there.

Frank Gifford's voice is loud. Some other effects as well. Not the background music.

If you have a chance to take a look at the table to see if you can get it, cool. If not, I can live with it.

Oh, + and - increase global volume it seems.

Question for you Vizzini-

Are you playing this in a cab or on a desktop?  If you are using a cab you need to do extra steps:

- In the script find showDMDonly and set that to true (1)

- After you start the table, right click on the backglass and under visibility set DMD to visible

- close that screen, left click anywhere on the table and press F3 to reset

- follow the procedure I outlined in that post

- when you have completed all adjustments and closed the white box right click on the backglass and under visibility set DMD to standard

- close that screen, left click anywhere on the table and press F3 to reset.

I can't guarantee this will work for you but it is the only thing I can think of.

Success!

showDMDonly was set to true in the script.

My issue was that I had the B2S DMD set to visible which enabled the portraits of Michaels, Dierdoff, and Gifford. That blocked my access to the PinMAME screen/DMD via the ~ key. Setting the B2S DMD to hidden let me in. I found that lowering the voice and increasing the other volume settings worked best.

Thanks for the help ta2686!

I'm still enjoying Baseball season. But, now I am ready for some football....a Monday night party!
