Your Dressed To Kill music.zip

Is corrupted Zip File.

I downloaded it 4 times just to make sure. i didn't want to report broken file, because all the rest work and unzip, and didn't want to scare people away from your download.

Excellent work by the way!!! Can't get enough of KISS Pinball!!!

Carry on!!

I used both 7zip, and the regular windows unzipper.

When I redid Dressed To Kill music folder I realized for the other albums I zipped the folder. So, when you unzip to music folder it's probably keeping each album in its own folder in the music folder. You need to drag those into the main music folder.

Quick note if you want to swap out songs or make one greatest hits or whatever... I had great difficulty at first and it was all due to id3 tags in the mp3's. Lesson learned.

Yes I learned about the ID3 Tags also while doing these NFL Tables. Drove me crazy at first.

Thanks for the fix.

The normal KISS table really didnt have many sounds. You could just not put any of the music in the music folder and will work that way also. But why play a KISS table without the music? The music enhances the table.

The first version in the downloads has no added music. The ones with music have the album title in parenthesis (Alive), (Destroyer) etc...

Hi guys.  I can't get this one to load, comes up with about 3 errors, I have kiss, kissb and kissc roms loaded, and tried VP8 and VP9, not sure what is wrong, I also get the same errors when trying the Destroyer table.

For Destroyer table first error I get is: Active X component can't create object.  Then I get:  VpinMame ver 01550000 required.  Then: Bally.vbs ver 3.26 or higher required (I have a bally.vbs file in the scripts folder, no idea how to tell what version it is? Edit - I opened it in notepad, and it says at top "Last updated in ver 3.36"?) .  Then the script opens up and I get 2 more errors:   Line 70, Object required: 'Controller'  and then the table tries to open but comes up with another error:  Line 1, Object required: 'Controller'.  Line 1 is blank, line 70 has:  " With Controller".

Any ideas exactly what is wrong?    Ps - I have 60 or so other tables working fine, this is only one I can't open currently

TIA

Maybe I do not have the latest update, but it may be that the scripts are set for UVP backglass.

If you have only one screen, look for this in the first few lines of the scripts,

Set Controller = CreateObject("UltraVP.BackglassServ")

and change it to this one

Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")

Then look for

.Hidden = 1

and change it like that,

.Hidden = 0

this makes the DMD visible.

Hi Kiwi thanks for the reply.  It seems like I might have multiple issues for sure with 5 errors.  I went into the script for that line you mention, and mine says:  "Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")  ???

Following that I have the following:   If Err Then MsgBox "Can't Load VPinMAME." & vbNewLine & Err.Description
     If VPMver> "" Then If Controller.Version <VPMver Or Err Then MsgBox "VPinMAME ver " & VPMver & " required."
     If VPinMAMEDriverVer <VBSver Or Err Then MsgBox VBSFile & " ver " & VBSver & " or higher required."
     On Error Goto 0

I did find a "Hidden" line much further down and it is set to 0
