I'm using a two monitor setup and running unit3d Beta.

I have managed to get everything setup right and running correctly but I have noticed a strange and frustrating behavior.

As "Real FullScreen" setting did not work for me (I have not tried stuffing about with Surround Nvidia feature) I have setup using the "Fake FullScreen All" setting.

I saved this setting and it works fine until I exit "Unit3D Pinball.exe" and restart to load a new table.

After loading new table even though in settings it shows "Fake FullScreen All" set the view of the new table comes up "Windowed".

I then can go into settings and flip something like "Anti Aliasing" setting on and off and it resets the "Windowed" view to the correct "Fake FullScreen All" view, which is really frustrating as I want to next configure PinballX to launch individual tables.

Help? Suggestions?

We had the problem with realfullscreen indeed, but never with FakeFullscreenAll. It means it fails reaching the desired mode at startup.

It sometimes is due to windows bar. It also can be due to some autohotkey scripts, as when you use PInballX. Maybe there are some answers on pinball x forums...

I have no scripts running at the moment to cause problem ... I haven't tried integrating into PinballX yet as I am seeing this problem without running anything else just unit3d Beta!

What exactly about window bar can cause this problem?

The thing is taht Unity does not handle multiple screens or rendering devices. So we had to "cheat". Actually "FakeFullscreen" means we creates a window spreading over different screens and we use some Win32 functions to hide decorations (window bar, title, etc...). Exactly like some pinballx autohotkey scripts.

However, Unity has some built-in "watchdog" which resizes the window and reset decorations, etc... So the operations has to be done in an order that seems to be dependant on hardware and display setup :(. And for example, windows bar, specially if it is in "auto hide" mode, can mess things up.

I don't know how to help you there. I can recommand you to setup your window screen layout with the "main screen" beeing the topleft most one... but really not sure it will help.

You can open a new topic if you like for people to share their setup (screens layout)...

Good luck
