File Name: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Data East 1991)(Edizzle)(FS)(PM5)

File Submitter: edizzle

File Submitted: 22 Jul 2015

File Category: VP 9.x MOD Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): TAB
Edizzle
Manufacturer: Data East
Year: 1991
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

I think this started out as TAB's table and then I started modifying it.  By the end, it's almost a new completely new table, but there are portions of script that are in tact, and a good amount of the artwork is from the original table, so it is certainly still a Mod.  So thank you to TAB for his work and allowing to mod.

What has been done:

Firstly, Please play this version in PM5.

-New Playfield image...I stitched a couple of different pics together so it's not perfect.
-Primitive treatment (slings, flippers, targets, spinner, bumpers, ramps, etc) I know the bumper caps are not accurate DE ones.
-Flasher and fading light routine
-Rescripted most switches in some form
-Rescripted AutoLaunch using IMplunger, as multiball was not working correctly
-Rescripted Sewer Manhole (Thanks Dark for the primitive!)
-Sort of animated Turtle sitting on Pop Bumper (using two ramp images)
-Added GI relay lgihts

For fun, I added an option at the top of the script to change the apron insert card.  I think I left it on the alternate, witch is a free play card with a pic of April (looking quite...mature), that I found when looking for resources.  If you want to change it back to a normal (yellow 50 cent = 1 play card) just change the const ApronA from 2 to 1.

Oh, one strange/interesting fact...the skill shot light in the shooter lane...that actually doesn't have a rom-controlled light or flasher associated with it...it doesn't seem to light at all.  I just tied it to one of the lights under the skill shot ramps on the left.  Weird.

As always, I made some changes right before submitting, and am at a spot where I can't really check if I accidentally broke something...so if I did, I apologize in advance!  Enjoy!

Hello Bolt.  Glad you like it.  Are you referring to the Wire Ramps that the skill shots lead to?  If so, I think that's how it was on all the pictures I saw of the table (green wire ramp on the left, and yellow wire ramp on the right).  You can change them pretty quickly by changing the primitive image from chrome yellow to chrome green and vice versa.  Or are you referring to the stickers on the clear plastic skill shot ramp?

Hi guys.
I have a problem with this table.
When the ball game runs slightly to the right as if the pinball were inclined to that side.
What can be?

Thanks for the help you can give me.

Cheers

César
