Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Rotated VP 8 DT converted to 9.9 with permission. PF, lights and plastics done primarily by mac420. Testing and tweaking and re-tweaking by kiwi. DOF and troubleshooting by arngrim. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that mac420 used CaptainNeo's playfield scan...

This one looks really good, been wanting to play the real table but haven't come across it in the wild. Thanks for the conversion all involved!

Yeah, this table looks pretty good and is quite interesting to play.  All the loops really keep you on your toes.

Thanks dboyrecords and all involved!

Good job. Thank you :)

One thing: On the real table if the ball drains fast enough through the right flippers it usually bounces over to the left flipper. The same can happen if the ball drains at the left flipper, if it's fast enough and you have a bit of luck it bounces over the drain hole on the rightmost flipper.

That's why that yellow "rescue" arrow is there, notice that it points in both directions.

You can see the ball bouncing from right to left in this video:

Sorry, I didn't find anything that shows the ball bouncing from left to right.

No, I was expecting the answer to be, "Top men!"

Also from the end of game match in Williams IJ.

Anyway, those would be the right top men, for sure.

Ha! I stared blankly at the laptop after typing it trying to think of some clever, Gottlieb inspired Top Gun rip off reference. I failed that mission...

One of my favorite Gottlieb rip offs is the "not California Girls" song in Spring Break (and the not-Spuds McKenzie).

We'll see what those smarty-smarts come up with...

:)

Nice job to all involved in this table

One little thing : the flipper subs are reversed

If ... then playsound "flipperup"   else ...   playsound "flipperdown"

Away from the cab atm but am sure you understand !

Cheers

Our top men have been working around the clock in an underground facility miles below the surface in an unnamed desert. Beneath a mountain. Tight security. Coffee...

A new RescueWall was created to aid in ball rescue. Elasticity is currently set to .7. This can be adjusted, curious what others think...

Enjoy!

The RescueWall works great! Elasticy .6 feels best to me. Thanks, Kiwi!

I've noticed a few more issues while playing:

- The spinner is transparent. I messed a bit with the transparency color of spinner_bull2 and spinner_boom2 but wasn't able to resolve it.

- The ball hangs sometimes at Ramp18, the end of the loop. The loop itself works fine, it only seems to happen when the ball enters the loop from the wrong side. I was able to nudge it off, but not without tilting the table.

- The ball should be able to enter somewhere at Wall101, you can see the position at 0:13 in the video I posted above, shortly before the siren goes off. Currently that shot doesn't seem to be possible.

But all in all, it plays great!

BTW, that siren on the real thing is a monster. Best way to say "honey, I'm home!" when you return from the pub at 2am.

Open coin door for added efficiency.

Thanks for the feedback Sir Cheddar, are all things that we can solve.

The spinner is not original, I or dboyrecords can change it with the one I used in Gladiators.
I thought I had solved the blocking of the ball at the exit of the loop, I'll have a look again.
Is true, the ball enters between the targets and the gate, is easy to add.

Sorry, I didn't have too much time the last days so I didn't test the new version before today. Great job, guys!

Thanks for making this table. It sure adds some variety :)
