Guys I posted this on another site,not to many people on there yet though,looking for help.

 

I  changed over to Pinball x Frontend,everything is far faster etc,i have these problems though BAM related I think.

 

When I Use the BAM exe for pinball x ,everything loads fine apart from that on table load the frontend flashes on/off and I can see the desktop loading the selected BAM table I have chosen.

 

My main problem though is on exit of emulator,when I exit emulator when using BAM,the frontend crashes to desktop,but when I use the normal FP.exe the exit emulator does its job fine and goes back to table selection screen.....

 

Driving me up the wall here..

 

Any help on this?

BAM work fine with Pinball X. You hava to also add "/STAYINRAM" to commanad.

I tested some time ago, and it works fine. (PinballX 1.53 & BAM v0.8-xx)

 

Flashing "desktop/FP loadscreen" on table loading or on calling PinballX menu is normal.

I did tests today and /STAYINRAM resolves problem with exit from table.

If You have have other problems/crashes, test first without PinballX.

i tested without frontend and i does load good , what i also got is with frontend it will also show me the loading screen of a loading table with the bar and with pinballx it shows me loading screen from pbx then i get a windows window giving me 3 choices and i take wait till program is ready then tables is there in a instant , then sometimes it gives me the normal loading screen of fp, also same problem as above poster when exiting fp in pinball , it goes to desktop and need to press the tab of pinballx .

 

but is it

or

 

Parameters="/STAYINRAM" /open "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /play /exit /arcaderender

"/STAYINRAM" and /STAYINRAM is same thing

This line is old style DOS command line param.

When You give args to program like this:

program.exe argumentOne argumentTwo

 

You pass 2 arguments

 

When You give args like this:

program.exe "argumentOne argumentTwo"

 

You pass 1 argument ( = "argumentOne argumentTwo" )

Maybe in next release i will find solution.

i have exactly the same problem.

When using /stayinram the programm hang on loading asking me if i want wait or terminate, if i wait, it load correctly... but it's not acceptable in a cab...

Any solution before i go back to Hyperpin ?

I solved the problem using the latest BAM version.

Pretty sure folks said you don't need arcaderender with bam. There is a checkbox (now) for cabinets.
