LASER WAR for VP9.2+
by ICPjuggla, Herweh and OldSkoolGamer

All Artwork/Lighting/GI by OldSkoolGamer

Special thanks to Fransisco666 for the playfield image.

This is a 'from scratch' rebuild. Artwork/GI was inspired by a LED mod of this table.
Table is saved with layer infos so for the best experience (and for pretty cool looking flasher) use a VP9.16 beta build or higher.

Thanks for and to:
- JP and EalaDubhSidhe for the LED idea and code
- Alpha Ramp Plunger code by Koadic
- Fading Lamps code, flasher images and much more from JPSalas
- Some sound files and ideas from JimmyFingers
- Ball rolling code by JimmyFingers and/or Rascal
- B2B Collision code by Steely & Pinball Ken and Koadic
and to all I've forgotten here maybe.

The table features 'Customizable Options' at the top of the table script. You may select VPinMAME, UVP or B2S, DMD rotation, GI and/or Flashers on/off, Cabinet Sounds or Ball Size.

Have a lot fun.

You can't have 2 different 1.0 versions :) What was the problem, maybe I can just fix my copy. :)

Very nice table, I like the flasher lights for something different, but I don't think I would want all tables like this. It's more like playing paintball to me, splashes of bright paint hitting the glass. :)

Good job overall, nice quality work.

wow, thanks.  Plays and looks great.  I love the sounds of this game.  Really plays perfect, or what I would think is perfect as I have never played a real one.  The ball sure does go fast when going up the ramp and back to the right flipper!  Great light show also, overall a great game.  Thanks again!

Made one last check of the site before bed, glad I did! ;)

Table is awesome, love the lighting effect!  The light in the turret looks so much like a real laser that I find myself instinctively looking away when it kicks on to protect my eyes; very cool effect!

Thanks a bunch ICPjuggla and all involved!  This will be one highly popular table in the game room with the light down low.

(Does anyone else feel like their retinas are flash burned?)

Thanks, Good looking table... except for those paintball-blob flashers. They are bright, but don't look like real pinball-flashers.

So I set them to zero in the options, but this resulted in the whole playfield being covered in red lines.

It's my fault that the flashers can not be disabled right now. Sorry for that. I'm preparing a version 1.01.

For the paintball effect: When I uncheck the two settings "Region Updates" and "Region Optimization" at the "Video options" I get the piantball flashers too (using VP 9.1.6 r652). When checking one of these two options (I have checked both of them) everything is fine:

Both unchecked: lw1.png One of them or both checked: lw2.png
