My apologies, serpiko. The table has been removed, but I've left the support topic, because I feel it's important to express that the authors of this community all feel the same way.

We have ALL worked MANY hours on our projects, and it's very disheartening to have these works modified without so much as a single request to do so. This would apply to tables, media packs, backglasses, etc. It's simply inappropriate to take without the original authors' permission.

How hard is it to ask, anyway?!

Regardless who owns the IP, it's the labor of love invested that makes it offensive to see it used without permission. We lose great contributors this way!

Again, my apologies. We strive to ensure these things don't happen, but every now and then, they slip through.

Thank you.

Asking permission is a MUST. For example, when I modded cirqus Voltaire to do the night mod , I had to get jp salas and rosve's permission. If they would've said "no" , I could not have uploaded it.

If I'm not mistaken, the Desktop version is angle independent and there were some suggested FS settings in the support topic.

Yep, those settings magically changed table from a desktop version to a full screen version.  This has me thinking, what other desktop tables can we apply these settings to?

The same method will work on most desktop tables, but not the exact same settings. Those will be different for each table.

Also, there are some desktop tables where more is needed for a proper FS conversion (graphics adjustments and other things). You can always give it a try though.

I should probably apologize to you, TT. I didn't even think about this topic continuation puts you on the spot. My apologies. It's an honest mistake that many people make when wanting to give back to our community. So, no worries. It happens. It's when long time members knowingly do it that causes the most grief. Bottom line is, asking permission only takes a few minutes, but goes a long, long way to keeping things cool. :)

People are also very sensitive and quick to jump on perceived transgressions, based on bad events that have happened in the past. Even the most experienced authors still have to be reminded from time to time that occasionally it's like walking on hot coals.

sanstitre13.png

It just changes 2/3 parameters and it allocates resources.ahahah !Ttooooooo easy to make a table !
Yessssss! I'll still catch a cold how ???? i'm the VIP !!!! pffffffffffffffffff
For example, I take a JP's table all the days and I change 2/3 parameters and I put it in my name.
That will tell Jp?
Sorry but it was not even a mode,as explained above luvthatapex how to convert.
Additional,in the header names of the creator,Donor resources and spare was not included.
I think some people want to show they are able to drive the work of others.
It's too easy.i download a table and did not even say thank you or
more, they sell the work of others.
look at e-bay with these CDroms compilations of visual .....
to make a table,it's hours and hours of work, watching videos, finding ressources, encode the script etc ....

I think the majority of us understand and are over it. If he wants to continue to spew his crap, ignore it. Just makes him look foolish if you can even understand his gibberish.

Honestly, why is this thread even out here anymore? Just remove it, probably better for everyone.

Dude, that seems overly harsh and ignorant. Serpiko has contributed a lot to this community, he's upset about the situation, and English isn't his first language.
Cut him some slack.

That being said, let's try and move on.
