So here are a couple of pictures of my 2 cabinet builds... an upright 24"/17" and also a full size 40"/29"/15"

I decided to first build the prototype using an old arcade cabinet , goal was to get everything working, Hyperpin and VP .. now known as Pincab Jr.  24"/17" setup. this was my test ground and prototype build to get everything working before building the full size cabinet.  This is a great little cabinet and still in use... Was going to switch it to vertical mame games, but I have 3 mame cabinets already.. so it will stay as Pincab Jr for the foreseeable future.

Add some buttons!

Done!

turns out this was alot of fun.... so on to the full size build

Start with a Williams Taxi Cabinet .. standard size cab 20.5" inside width

This is where I got my side rails and flippers buttons, any idea what this old EM pinball was? (this was in a field it was going to a burn pile)

Old hardware was cleaned and reused.

40" LED TV and standard cabinet

trim the metal bezel on the LED TV

After all the trimming it was time for Beer and Pong!

Just needed to route a little and it fit perfect. (Westinghouse, this one has 6ms refresh rate)

same on the other side!

Add some Table glass and side rails and a lockdown bar and you are playing

or more build photos and stuff...

some videos in HD

After playing around a few hours it was time to add a 3rd monitor for the DMD role.

the DMD is a Dell 15" LCD, it was remove from the case and it fit 100% perfect, no need to modify the backbox, it holds both the 29" LED and 15" LCD

Want to thank all the visual pinball team / tables makers and the guys at Hyperpin! You guys ROCK!  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE REAL WORK!!!!

Added plexi glass to cover the backbox and the 3 screen setup is running.

This setup is smooth, using a GTX650 Ti 2GB DDR5, make sure your GTX650 is a Ti version the performance is night and day.  I do not have any cooling fans and none are needed with LED, they run so cool, the cabinet is quite and clean looking (next up is a nanotech plunger kit and paint with theme decals)

With optional DMD light and coin door light, also under cabinet strobes are triggered with the dmd and coin door light is on.

Got the Nanotech plunger kit installed now!!!

I am still waiting on my nanotech Mot-Ion board, it has been about 11 days now... :(

Next is paint and theme decals and it should be completed.

That is part of an old Satin Doll machine.  I played that table a bit in the 70s. Liked it a lot.

I am about to start my first build...i have very similar setup as you...40"/29"/13".  I was curious what the length of the cabinet is?  45"?  You mentioned the width is 20.5.

Thanks.
