File Submitted: 23 May 2012

File Category: Future Pinball

Author(s): Martin Brunker
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1979
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Across the Special-1-Key *) you can choose and save whether name-entry (initials) on the end of game shall be used.

Across the Special-2-Key *) you can choose and save the number of balls per game. With this option the highscore will
be reseted to the recommended worth.

If you fade-out or fade-in the HUD-Display across the Toggle-Hud-Key, then this setting will get saved for further
game sessions.

The standard playfield image has a size of 1024 x 2048 pixels. If you like a higher resolution please choose "Spielfeld2048"
as "Playfield Image" in the table-propertys in the editor. For further use of this the table must get saved.

If the score is higher than the displayable number, then the players score continues at zero again like real EMs and EEs do.

Thank you bolt smile.gif

I just updated the table to 1.0.1 because I forgot to disable double lighting in 3-Ball play (means 1 + 5 and 3 + 4). The new version unlites just the lane the ball goes through (just like in 5-Ball play), so that completing 1 to 5 is a little harder wink.gif

okay that just looks too clean!
Can ya' spill a beer onto the play field or something?
Maybe a cigarette burn or two?
Great looking table cool.gif , now let me see
how much I suck on this one rolleyes.gif

Love these early Bally SS tables. Excellent job as usual, Martin.

Any ideas for your next project? If I might make a suggestion, someone recently posted a very nice high-quality scan of the playfield for Bally's Frontier. Would make a worthy addition to the stable of FP Bally tables.

Well, there is already a FP table of Frontier from Germax but if I could find good graphics stuff may be I am able to make an own recreation. Can you send me the playfield scan or a link where I could download it? Plastics would also be a very importend stuff. I had a look over Google but could not find any useful graphics.

Thanks,
Martin

Here's a link to the download page for the Frontier playfield:

I didn't realize that there were so many other playfield images available there too. Plastics-wise, I'll do a little searching too and see if I can find anything.

I guess this is the scan Germax used for his table, but sorry it is really small and in low quality even for redrawing the playfield.

I think you're just clicking on the preview picture. If you press the "download" button and download the file, same as you would download a VP or an FP table, you get a 3037 x 6300 pixel image. There's no need to recreate the artwork, it's a really high quality scan.

Thank you for the link. If I will not find any images of the plastics I try to extract them from these images. So anyway I'll make an attempt to recreate Frontier.
