Ola pessoal. Obrigado

Hello people. I installed vp as indicated on the site, already has come a pinball speed that worked properly. Baxei the table of the medieval madness, which was why he wanted the program and could not make it work. the problem is the following: roms unavailable. I downloaded the rom mm_10u and put the folder rom, but not solved anything. The medieval madness opens, you put the plug, but it gets around, the game does not start. Someone tell me how to play? Thank you

Which version of the table file did he download? Was it JP's or Megapin's?

Also, which operating system is he using? XP, Vista or Win7?

Are you running VP as administrator?

Right click the VP icon and select "Run As Administrator" from the context menu if you have not already done so.

Did you keep the roms zipped when you put them in your roms folder? Roms MUST remain zipped when placed in the roms folder.

You may need to also verify the path that VP is looking for the roms. Run the setup.exe program again, then click on Setup Paths (or something similar to that) and verify where VP is looking for the roms.

Then I would try the rom that zoltar420 linked you to. You may have not had the correct rom that the table was looking for.

I tryed again and it did'nt work. When I click "play" in the game VP found all arquives in the rom except one.

mm_g11.1_0 not available
mm_s2.1_0 ok
mm_sav3.rom ok
mm_sav4.rom ok
mm_sav5.rom ok
mm_sav6.rom ok

I enter at zip rom, and the archive mm_g11.1_0 (not available) was named as mmu_g11.1_0. It have a letter U, because this problem vp can not find the archive.
I tryed to rename to the correct, but it continues not available.

The problem could be in the rom?

Hi there,

I found this topic as , like the OP, I installed VP  for the sake of playing medieval madness. I'm also a huge fan of this pinball, but I don't play any other pinball at the moment. I just stop at bars that have this pinball when I see it :)

Beeing a complete noob (never had installed VP before nor heard about it) it took me about 90 minutes to be abble to play...

I had the same problem than OP. The problem is due to an incorrect rom. The good rom to download is there:

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=1344

Even once everything is downloaded (and works), it's not that simple to start a game (i mean for a pure noob). I think that OP had in the end everything working but was not abble to start a game, some even if it might be completely obvious/stupid, i post what I did :)

You have to insert a coin in the flipper to be abble to start a game.

To see all commands on the keyboard => F2

I inserted a coin with the digit "4" and started a game with the digit "1".

hope this will help complete beginners. I'm probably not the only guy looking to install VP only because of medieval madness ;-)

Just download the official ROM: mm_10.zip from this site. That is the default ROM in my table.

There are a few lines in the script which you can comment if you want to use another rom.

Hi,

It might be a silly mistake but I can´t sort it out.

Ive just installed the Medieval Madness VP915 2.4.3 Desktop table and run it with mm_109b.zip as requested by the VP.

Everything is working fine however there is no background (or playfield). It is all dark green!

have you guys got any suggestion about it?

Im running it on a Windows XP.

thanks!
