I cant get the "mother lode" jackpot . Can anyone else?
It seems like there is a problem with the table script, maybe the timers.
The lock gate doesn't work properly during normal play i don't believe either.

really? no one else has a problem with the mine encoder on their machine? WHen i start the machine, i get "mine encoder" error message when i go and press "enter" in the operators options.

I don't know what could be wrong. All i know is the Mine lock/gate does NOT work right on my emulation.

I have never gotten an error message. But it has been awhile since I have played this table.
Have you tried starting over with a new NVRam?
I had to use a new nvram for my Pinbot table when the visor got all screwed up. It fixed the problem.

backup your nvram file, and do a factory reset or rename your nvram file and let the game make a new one. Perhaps it's corrupted.

I don't get an error or anything, but many times when the mine should be opened, it's closed...I was able to get a motherload jackpot once, but most of the time when the mine should be opened, it's closed. Cactus Canyon needs a refresh anyway at some point.

I took drastic measures and just DELETED/REMOVED the wall that blocks the ball in the mine. Now, at least, i can make the shot every time.

I've finishing my own MOD of this fantastic table from Lord Hyriu. It solves some problems in the script, like the mine encoder and the train enconder.

Then I will send it to Lord Hyriu; maybe he wills to work a little more on that MOD, and release a new version.

The table is really fantastic, despite being at least three years old!

Thanks MRCMRC for all your recent modding! Improving some of the older tables is really appreciated by many I believe.

This is great news MRCMRC!

I actually started my own mod of the Lord's Cactus Canyon... added alpha ramps and tweaked the pf and physics but couldn't fix the script issue. Also the ball kept flying off the left hand ramp. Was going to release it as is but will wait for your proper makeover now smile.gif

Cheers! drinks.gif

...that will only happen if the original author gives permission for the mods to be uploaded.

For the one I was working on Lord Hiryu was so kind to give his permission, I just didn't want to release it half-cocked (pardon the pun). You'll be better off waiting for MRCMRC's mod and I imagine he also sought permission.

Of course, I'll never release a MOD without permission from the author. That is the way it must be.

You're joking right? I thought you were the self professed: "I can't do "anything" except download already working pins" guy??

If you're such a big modder, where's your authorized uploads?
