So I am about to buy my 1st pinball machine, its being delivered to me and will be here in about an hour and a half. It is a SS version of Gottlieb Solar Ride. I think this table is really sweet. It has been fully shopped out with new rubbers, new flippers, new bulbs, new board, new leg levelers and bolts, all displays light up and it is working. I am paying $700 for it + gas money for him to deliver 50 miles. I dont feel this is the cheapest, but I feel that i am not getting hosed either especially if its all sort of brand new. I've talked with him over the phone and discussed it and he says it is a very reliable game (i'm putting a little faith into the seller here)

What do you think? smile.gif

Great news Sabbat!! Your first game (is probably not going to be your last! wink.gif ).

Thing is .. I started buying/collecting them because I like to fiddle around, clean them, repair them, just being busy with Pinball!
Once you've fully shopped your first machine you need to get another one to keep you going!

Show us some pics when you got it!

Cheers,
FD.

Relax. It's being delivered, so you'll get to check it out thoroughly before you part cash.

Nice find Freddie! Now you too, are a card carrying member!
You wont regret owning it and 700 for an early SS is a fair price. Especially since it has been fully shopped.
I really like the looks of it. You better post a vid so I can hear it also.

Of course, you still have to visit...

Congrats Freddie - definately won't be your last smile.gif
& $700 sounds like a fair price for what you've got.

No problem getting a fully shopped machine as your 1st one - my 1st was fully shopped, and I was glad of it - certainly learnt enough to start with just fixing stuff that went wrong over time.
Now however, I can fully strip, shop, & rebuild a machine I've never even played before.

Enjoy it - it takes a long time to get over the, "I can't believe I can play this over & over without having to put any money in" feeling smile.gif

Regards,
Dan.
