FACES FS VP9.1.x

Version: 2.0.5
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): Rosve

Description:
Sonic/Segasa 1976
This is a new build from scratch of the Sonic FACES table. Included is a working backglass and a backglass png for HyperPin.

Thanks Grizz for the work you did to improve the pf-image.

-----------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.1

- Adjusted the position of the upper flipper.
- Extra ball was not working.
- Animated Bumper rings.
- The Gate open light was not working.
- Adjusted the timer setting for the FACES rollover buttons to make them stay lit a little longer after completing FACES.

------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.2
- Backglass display(1-3) can be defined in the ScreenRes.txt file. See the installation doc.
- Center targets advances bonus 3 steps.
- The eye on the backglass is flashing when scoring.
------------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.3
- Fixed a bug in the screen configuration for the backglass
- When the backglass is started it automatically sets the focus to the Visual Pinball Player process. This is needed if you want to launch the backglass from the table script.
----------------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.4
- This release is using the new B2S V2 backglass
----------------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.5
-The size and position of the backglass can be set in the ScreenRes file. No change to the table.

Thanks rosve for the table, and again for adding the ability to define the backglass monitor number. Superb stuff!

It is on it's way. Only, I am building a new pinball cabinet ( smile.gif ) and that takes a lot of time from playing with VP.

there seems to be a bug in the pop bumpers on the older version.
the ball will kick around normal then sometimes go wild.
has it been fixed with the new version?

The old version (1.0.0) was my first VP table ever. You could probably consider that whole table a bug.
The new version (2.0.x) plays much better.

for your first table it was not bad.
just had a bug in the pops.
is there a way to fix that?

btw,
is it possible to edit the scripts with the B2s FS/WS tables with a hidden = x for 1 monitor players?

I don't think it's a bug. try to reduce the "Dampening Speed" from 60 to 36 and it should play better.

If you by Hidden mean that you don't want the backglass to launch then edit this line in the script,
CODE
'***********************************************************

    LaunchBackGlass "FacesFS_B2S",true 'True=Launch bg ,  False=Don't launch bg.

'************************************************************

Change True to False.

1 monitor.
your tables are sharp in 911/912.
need the 1 monitor DMD scoring display on the screen in the corner.
cant use the BG.
i have a 19HD monitor with the 9 pin plug.
maybe later.

Rosve.

i have not gotten around to extracting the Faces folder.
maybe FacesB2S has a launch BG = true/false in the script.
some do not.

took another look at TZB2S script.
typed "launch", "launchbackglass" and "display" in the edit search box.
no results.

if you wizards could please set up the script with "Launch Backglass = true/false for a full cab and or hidden=x for the DMD for 1 monitor.
they play but no scoring display.
alot of us are not setup for a full cab.
thanks..........

Chas, I'll see if I can build a generic B2S scoring display for 1 monitor FS users.
It should work with most B2S tables.
