Preliminary assembly of the cabinet.

Care is being taken to ensure that things will be as true to the actual table as possible. Including the SAM DMD layout! Although any additional help will be much appreciated, since I've never played this table before.

The actual table has lamps in the playfield that have no purpose, and incomplete rules, and no wizard mode, so as soon as your graphics are done I think it's good to go!

Speaking of lamps, I think I found the exact kind in The Dark Knight ULTRA Edition - you think they'd mind if I borrowed them for this purpose?

It would be a good idea to ask first - if you're talking about the spotlight lamps then those models were created for public use by Steve.

I've redone the cabinet again, and this time it's a little closer - although it's still a bit wonky.

While I'm on it, does anyone know how I can change the textures on the lockdown bars, the legs and the plunger housing?

You could try using a different model for the plunger. There are 2 or 3 to choose from. For the legs and lockdown bar, you can't change those unless you were to change the cabinet type too, which I think also changes the coin door.

That's looking great so far. I played a few games on the real machine, which I found to be more fun than I expected. Guess it's going to be tricky getting the word spelling element into the game. Good luck with bringing it all together.

Since I know very little about scripting, I can't offer much. Maybe keep all the words three letters or less. LOL. I'd say Steve is likely the guy to ask.

A large stride forward yesterday. Er, larger than usual, I say.

The apron now has all its decals, complete with that smart lino touch.

First DMD screen has been created! It wouldn't be possible without Pinball News, so many thanks to them. I have a look at their photos of the DMD, sketch out the images, dot by pixel. I go with what's best.

The miniature DMD, sculpted from hole ornaments and a hologram. Ordinarily it too should be dotted, but since I've switched off the shaders on my rig, this is how they turn out on my end.

The drop targets.

And the LED sign! Haven't worked out how to get rid of the top stripe yet.

If you are making the LED sign with a wall, just a make a texture with a completely transparent alpha layer and use that for the Top Texture. That should solve the problem.

boy but those FP tables sure look purty like! Sure wish our vp's looked that good! nice wip so far, It will most likely play better than the real one as that one wasn't the greatest

never having gotten too far working in FP does that use a floating camera? how do you get those angled shots like that? wish vp could do that but then again it is probably a memory hog looks cool though nice table so far
