Table plays great and looks beautiful, GREAT JOB!!

I have found the included FPLaunch does not seem to exit VP correctly though when running in Hyperpin. Has anyone also had this issue?

Thanks,
Mark

Looks great and plays great. Many thanks to all involved.

I don't want to keep repeating this, but rosve backglass program is a great compliment to VP and adds so much to the VP EM tables for 2-screen cab setups. Cheers again man tup.gif

Nobody is as excited as me that these older EM tables made their way to VP! I was gearing up to start adding FP to the mix. Anyway ...

Is there anything that can be done for a 3 display cabinet so the backglass will display on the backglass monitor and not the DMD monitor?

Thanks!

I don't know if this helps troubleshoot or not but I have a table image and backglass image that shows up properly within HyperPin for this machine. When I go to play it, the backglass image remains on my second monitor while the uvp displays on my DMD monitor. I hope this can be fixed. All three of the latest EM machines for 9.11 exhibit this same behavior. I love these old machines too sad.gif.

It looks like you have your DMD monitor set up as 2nd.
Playfield => 1st
Backglass => 2nd
DMD => 3rd

Go into 'Display Properties' and click 'Identify'

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
FD.

Yes, FD is right.

You need to rearrange your screen settings.
The backglass will show up on the second screen.

Thanks but I checked this and it looks right to me. My other tables (all SS of course) all work perfectly fine so not sure how those could work if it wasn't setup right. I will check it when I get home again tonight though. Thanks for your response.

I checked the backglass program code and I think I know what is happening on your system.
The backglass is not started on the second display, it is actually started on the first non primary display. This is normally the same as display 2 but if the screens are arranged in the multiple display setup like this, Screen1, Screen3, Screen2, then Screen3 is the first non primary display.

VP is using an even simpier technique to determine witch display to use. It goes for the first display in the display list, that is why the primary display must be to the left in the display setup.

This is helpful and thank you for your response. I plan to take a long, hard look at how I have the three displays connected/configured tonight and straighten it out. I built a cabinet for the older EM tables to be honest so I will stop at nothing to get these to work. I love them that much smile.gif. Thanks for getting them all working in VP!

Problem solved thanks to you guys. It took some hardware changes (swapped PCI-e cards around) but finally got the OS to recognize the monitors as 1/2/3 from left to right like it should. Interesting that SS machines and hyperpin worked with the monitors in the wrong order but it's all good now.

Now if only we could get some media packs for those old tables wink.gif.
