This is my solution how to create animated backglasses on a second display for EM tables in Visual Pinball.

Please read the "EM_Backglass_Tutorial" for a guide on how to use this software.

Version 2.0,
This is a complete rewrite of my active EM backglass solution.
It is no longer using em-reels on the backdrop to communicate with the backglass program. It is now using a more efficient and flexible data transfer that resolves many performance issues.

It also includes a very flexible and easy to use EM-style scoring mechanism that can be used when building or converting a table to use a 2nd screen backglass.

Implemented a more safe method of giving the focus back to Visual Pinball.

Update 2.2
- Two new parameters in the ScreenRes file.
X-pos and Y-pos. Makes it possible to adjust the size and position of the backglass on the screen.

Description of the ScreenRes parameters,
X-resolution of the Playfield display. (must be the same as in VP/Preferences/Video Options)
Y-resolution of the Playfield display. (must be the same as in VP/Preferences/Video Options)
X-Size of the backglass display.
Y-Size of the backglass display.
Display number (1 - 3). The screen that you want the backglass to be displayed on.
X-Position of the backglass display.
Y-Position of the backglass display.

Update V23
-Two templates are included, V22 is the EM template, V23 is a new SS template with 8 and 16 segments LED displays. (Please read the updated tutorial document)

All my backglasses are updated but not yet uploaded.
I'll start a massive upload session tonight .

Hopefully other authors will do the same.
