I am just starting up a Wyoming Pinball League. I got the email from Josh Sharpe (IFPA President) stating what I need to do to become registered as an official league. This once this league grows we can enter scores to the World Pinball Player Rankings and have a chance to get somewhere as a competitive league for this state.

We are currently looking for members. I doubt there is anyone from Wyoming that may post here but I'm going to keep this here just incase one might run across it.

For now this is what I'll be using for the group till I create the website.

hello ,
i think its a great idea that someone is finally trying to get a league in wyoming that could establish pinball tourneys' for World Pinball Player Ranking points. i play in colorado or vegas in tourneys, it was be rad if there was at least 1 annual wyoming pinball championship tourney. unfortunatly i am not and will not be a member of facebook. looking foward to hearing more on the matter.

pinball in jackson hole wy? not yet, but on its way!!! being a wyo native, i'd love to get this off the ground.

Its been really tough. I just can't find enough players around here. I already talked to Josh Sharpe (IFPA) and he said once I get enough players and a site then I am good to go. The problem is FINDING THE PLAYERS.

I have not given up. BUT for the time being, I'll be making my way down to Colorado for tournaments. Its to bad I can't make it to the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown this year sad.gif

Welcome to the forums!

What I think you should do is to look at the Installation Guide that is here on the forums. This will assist you with getting everything installed and running properly for Visual Pinaball and Visual PinMAME. Click on this link to view the guide:

http://www.vpforums....u...l&f_id=2990

You should be able to have more than one version of Visual Pinball on your computer. Just make sure each version is named different (i.e. VPinball.exe, VPinball912.exe, etc.)

Couple of other things that I feel you should know:

- Do not unzip the roms when you download them. Just put the zip file as is into the roms folder

- update your vbs file package with the updated vbs files. You can get that package from this link: http://www.vpforums....u...ail&f_id=17

If you have any further questions, or are unsure about anything, please post again and someone will try to assist you.

Hope this helps.
