Oh boy.....oh boy.....oh boy..... stunning table, plays extremely well ! On the first go scored 12M.....dang that was a blast !

No issues at all, did some script editing though, needed to dampen/amplify some sounds for my PMD. With all eye candy

enabled this table looks drool and worship ready.....all Hail King Rudy   :crazy:

Thanks to ALL involved !

Did you download all 5 images?  The 5th image is in the post under the one with 4 attachments.

You shouldn't have to delete the old one. The one you import takes its place.

Thanks for the info. This will help the Authors to know its not the big pics causing the error.

I will delete the posts now.

Bob,
Try this. In the editor...go to sound manager. Find a file named arcade and delete it. Now try the table and let me know if that helps.

   Tried the sound manager thing. I did this on your table as is--not with Xeno's image changes. Doing this gives me error on line 224. Clicking OK then gives me another error on line 348. With respect to those image changes, I missed the 5th image and his post is now down, so I don't know if that would have helped or not

So for the record. The arcade sound is a large arcade ambience file that can be switched on or off on the fly with left magna save button.

Try this now. Copy any other sound effect in there. Name this copy arcade. Now see what happens.

   I'm a bit in over my head....I know enough about putters to be dangerous. If I go to another table and open sound manager, I cannot copy any sound file.  And if I try to import, I don't see anything to import. Appreciate all your help

Bob,  you could also try this.....search the script for arcade, then comment out this section   ' <-- thats the comment key

If BGSounds = 1 then
StopSound "arcade"
BGSounds = 0
Else
PlaySound "arcade",-1
BGSounds = 1
End If

Another way of saying it. Just put an appostrophe in front of each of the lines that cp mentioned.

Well, I tried commenting out the 'arcade' section in the script and tried replacing the arcade .wav sound and I get the same error when lauching the table.

Have any of you guys that are getting memory errors changed your "max texture dimension" settings in the VPX editor video preferences?  This is the same fix that people have used for memory related crashes in other hefty tables such as Walking Dead, etc... (note that it specifically says "for low-end gfx boards" right next to the option).  Bob, I mentioned this as a suggestion to you on another site and didn't see a response as to whether you had tried it.  This may not work, but it has worked for many people in very similar situations for other tables with large textures.

If you have an old gfx card, reduce the number for this setting... don't leave it on "unlimited".  That is telling VPX that you will let it use unlimited memory for the table... and you don't have unlimited memory to spare.

Drybonz..I thought I did reply to your suggestion...maybe not. In any event, I did move the bar all the way to the left. That didn't help

Hi Nemo, have you tried my PMD script mod for this one? It can be downloaded at randr's

You may still need to fine adjust for your cab, but it may pickup a few more tweaks for you?

Bob, I saw your previous reply regarding the bar... I am not talking about the bar... look for "max texture dimension".  It's in video preferences and it is not a slider bar.  It's 4 buttons you can choose from.

Dbonz...thank you for another reply. As I said in a previous post, I know enough about computers to be dangerous. Going to the four buttons for texture and selecting 1032 solved the issue. And thank you ,too, wrd for hanging in there with me!

So here is a screenshot of the options that need to be tweaked:

Bob,

Did you change it to 3072?

No problem, Bob... I'm really glad it worked for you.

Can someone who has been having this problem please post a screenshot of the error message for me, or at least tell me the exact text of the error?
