Thanks for the help on the sound issue.  After a lot more investigation I found that I had in fact broken VPX sound for Playmusic on other tables.  The issue was the old one with Bass where your music playback device must be the default playback device in the VPX options, not the actual playback device itself.  I don't recall when I changed that, but clearly I had not played a table with Playmusic for a while.  All running again now.

Did you try to change Slope for Min & Max Difficulty ?

 

I set them both to 5.5 and the ball seams to have a more "natural" spin, but it's also more speed !

 

The only setting I found for the ball is "Trail Strength" (above Night -> Day cycle) but I'm not sure it changes ball behavior

 

I also noticed something very strange, changing Playfield Friction value has an effect on the mp3 tracklist !

Yes, I edited slope, but didn't find a setting with whom I'm satisfied. I also edited pf friction.

The mp3 worked with edited friction.

adding credit, starting game and ball gets jammed half way at the gate so can't even use plunger to get it on to the table?

using v1.3 with vpx 10.5

I just tried to upload version 1.4 but I'm not sure that it worked properly

 

The last time I uploaded a file I had to wait the upload to be finished before I can submit it, but as nothing seemed to hapen, I tried and submission was accepted

 

but version 1.4 is not in the download list, did anyone else have the same problem ?

I noticed a slight difference when updating a few tables.

I had to use Google Chrome to upload, as Firefox didn't work for me anymore.

You will see the uploading percentage in bottom left corner of window to see the progress of upload.

Hope this helps you my friend.

 

Edit:

I just updated my Christmas Pinball table and I used Firefox and it worked.

After you browse to the file you are uploading, then you click "Attach File".

You should then see down in the lower left corner of window where it says "Sending request to www.vpforums.org".

It isn't the same as it used to be where you can see the progress. But the window will show its busy uploading.

So hopefully this helps you.
