Sometimes when i download a table and try to open it, a message will pop up saying unable to open library Music.fpl, Textures.fpl etc. Was just wondering how to fix this.

You gan get them from http://www.irpinball.org/

Edit:
Also, some tables come with libraries included in the zip or rar. The extension is .fpl and they go in the libraries folder of FP. (C:\Games\Future Pinball\Libraries).

If your downloaded FP table file is compressed (zip, rar, ...), it often contains the needed library files.
You can see them, when you open a compressed file.

The actual table file has the file extension .fpt and it must place in the FP's Tables directory.

Possible attachment files (sounds, music, textures, models, ...) have all the file extension .fpl and
they all must place in the FP's Libraries directory.

If the table is starting and doesn't find it's attached file (.fpl) from the Libraries directory, then you will get mentioned error messages.

(Sorry my poor English)

The only time I ever get that message is when I don't have the libraries saved in the right location.  This is the folder where they go:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\Libraries

...Or you can save them to this folder which is the same as the tables:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\Tables

This is where the BAM folder goes:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM

If you got all that right, then maybe the libraries are corrupted although it doesn't seem likely that all the libraries are corrupted.

You might try playing a table without BAM and see if you still get the message.  It shouldn't make any difference.

You don't say if you use a front end program.  If you do, try playing a table without any of the front end stuff.

I was trying to launch table from a nas drive apparently there is no universal path. After i moved it to the tables directory on the same drive as the library it worked.

You can do that, but you need some hard pointers, or FP gets lost
You could map the drive, which might be easier than creating junctions

But no FP is not fond of \\my_server\pinball\fp\tables
vpx is a little more tolerable, but not entirely

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

A library file is normally saved in the download of the table it is associated with by the author of the table.  An exception are the libraries added when FP was installed although they start with fp.  Add the file in your download to the libraries folder or you can save it to the same folder as your table.
