Your layers window is covering the properties up - try mousing around the top of that area until you find the handle and dragging it down

Hi guys, i don't sure if it's know :

Mata Hari or AFM 3.02 JPsalas ( perhaps others ) in cabinet mode.

F6, change lights or camera setup, save table -> bumpers and slingshots are now inactive.

Did you use 10.6.X or 10.7 beta to save?

Hello Dev Team.

Thanks for all your work.

I don't know it this could be considered a bug but if "Alternative Depth Buffer processing" is checked in Video/Graphics options, 3D stereo doesn't work.

Tested on Win10 x64, VPX 10.7.0 release 169

Steps to reproduce it:

Open Visual Pinball > Preferences > Video/Graphics Options ... > Check the "Alternative Depth Buffer processing" box > Pull down the "3D Stereo Output" and select "TB (Top/Bottom)" option.

Load any table > press F5 to start it > press F10 to start the 3D Stereo mode.

Unfortunately the alternative depth buffer is only a last resort and does not support everything..  :/

Clone bug material, if I clone a material and rename it with a name in previous alphabetical order, a dozen extra materials with the same name are created.

In the official version VPX06 if I do the same test, the cloning of the material enters an infinite loop of cloning.

An alphabetical reordering of the material, before cloning the material, makes the cloning work correctly.

I don't exactly get your repro steps, what do you mean with 'previous alphabetical order'??

Do you maybe have a table for me with exact repro steps for that one?

For example, the letter A in alphabetical order comes before the P,

if you clone the material "plastic with image", you get "plastic with image001",

and then you rename it as "Aplastic with image001", and now clone the renamed material (I forgot this last step).

Maybe you don't need to clone the material first, but rename it and then clone it.

rev185 is up (Release Candidate):

- fine tune string/name handling
- fix lights bulb checkbox behavior
- fix deactivating primitive collidable checkbox if toy checkbox is checked
- handle old tables with too long item names better (truncates name now)
- fix crash on loading older tables with too long item names, and now its also prevented to create these
- some minor UI fixes

Note: We plan to release VP 10.7 in the near future as long as no groundbreaking issues come up in the next days. Any further updates/bugfixes will be address in a VP 10.7.x version later.

Yeah I know. If I find the time I can add a context menu and add this option to it.

Was this done? (renaming layers) . It is a right PITA to do this, main thing that's kept me away from using it. To fiddly, takes too long.

Edit: Like swapping out the shortcut F2 Sound Manager is better? Anyone use F2 for sound?......I don't. It's the rename shortcut in any application that can rename a field, right.

Hi,

this version of VPX 10.7 already works with the PinUp System?

will the tables that I set the layout, size, inclination etc. in VPX 10.6 automatically be right in the new version 10.7 or will I have to redo all the adjustments?

I'm still afraid to change the 10.6 system for this one and have problems ...

hugs

Thanks for this update.  Very much looking forward to it.  I was thinking about download the latest beta so I can play some recent tables, but I'll wait for the official release since it's so close.

Thank you to everyone who has worked on this.  Your work is very much appreciated.

Anyone having dof and solenoids locking on this version. Might be coincidence. Is there a dof/solenoids trouble shooting section?

As for ppl that are still afraid to test this:

You can simply just rename your current VPinballX.exe to VPinballXold.exe, then copy over all files from the zip. In case something goes wrong for whatever reason, then you can just 'restore' that old .exe.

And the newer .dlls and .vbs files are all backwards compatible, even down to the ancient VP8!

And as fuzzel mentioned: Further bugfixes can come later-on, as usual. But we think that it's finally time to get this out the door. It's been lingering around for way too long.
