The tube dancer is also missing in the physmod version which uses the old 9.2 rendering engine. So its probably a table issue not a VP dx9 issue.

 

No, physmod uses the latest DX9 renderer. ("Latest" meaning of course what was current at the time I published it.)

It's not really cut in half though, is it? More like a little bit chipped off at the bottom. I might increase that offset value (at least for lower viewing angles), was a bit scared to cause other artifacts.

0.6 was the minimum offset value needed to correct it for this angle.   (Inclination is 54)

This may be a new problem as I have not played this table recently, but I am seeing an issue with the out lanes on Seawitch.      The rollover wire is not showing up.    I do see it briefly as the ball rolls over it.    Is this a depth setting problem?    Anyone else seeing this on there cab?

I've just loaded the latest version of the DX9 test for the first time to try it out and getting plenty of micro-stutter.  I've seen somewhere in these 95 pages of threads to set my frame limiter to 120.  I assumed that would be under video options, but am unable to locate it there or elsewhere.

You have to put it into the (adaptive) vsync field. It's very unintuitive, I agree, and improving that is still on the todo list.

max prerendered frames does not seem to be saved.  I change to 1 and quit, but it remains 2 when I load up VPdx9 again.

I get stutter when I first launch the ball on WCS 94, but it's smooth after that.

Star Trek 1979, Car Hop, Monster Bash and TOTAN do not have the missing ball issue; Yeah baby!

 

I am so stoked dev team! You have to be happy with the progress.

 

Trials and tribulations it seems but VP is the winner in the end.

its one of my favorit tables , problem with wcs is when i get ball 2 then then the stutter starts realy strange also , the ball sometimes fickers/ghosts

like to see it fix in some way , also in apollo13 there is in multiball 13 also little stutter sometimes not always.

For me WCS94 is the most demanding of the other table, I set VSync to 60.

I trie'd out VP9_DX9_test6. EM Tables are runnig well when z-axis is more than 0. SS Tables don't start. Error- Message: "Machine terminated before initialized, check the rom Path or rom file".

Any idea?

Honestly, with the last test I have only tried my WIP.
With Test15 WCS94 works best with VSync to 120 Hz in my system, in the past I had put VSync to 60 because the frames did not reach 120.
However, the stutter is also present in my system.

tested alot of the tables in dx9 test15 lots are good only can see some very little hickups(ball) in all of them.. maybe its the ball picture .
